Forum name color and forum titles? Should my name be purple?!?!

Howdy

I found a post that was a reference to what different name colors meant.

I have seen several members with purple names, which according to that post purple was reserved for Supporting Members

Now, I have seen about half the folks I have seen that are supporting members have their names in purple, the other half in standard blue.

Is there an option that supporting members have to change their name back and forth? And if so, where is that accessed? Can I just request to have my name appear in purple? LoL... I am already a supporting member, but if I can have my name in purple I'll be much more inclined to continue to support well into the future!

Yes, this is extortion, and I would like my name in purple... LoL!

Alright, next question is about forum titles...

I have seen many members with strange names that don't appear to match up with their post count. Like mine, with a post count of ~400 is Super Member and I'm pretty sure that's what it's supposed to be... Although I have seen some with similar post counts referred to as Ohm Destroyer or PV master or whatever, strange stuff that looks like it doesn't fit the mold.

Is there a list somewhere of every available title and how to get them?

I know, it's silly, but I like to stand out in a crowd

Different name colors become available when different conditions are met. My name color is associated with my ECF Vet status, for example. This can be changed in your settings, all options available to you (in your case, it looks like you'd have the standard default color and the supporting member purple available) will be shown there

User title can also be customized in your settings

For username color go to Settings and then in the left-hand menu bar choose Permission Groups. There you can choose your username color, just click the little checkbox next to the one you want (labeled "identify me as a member of this group")

For custom title, go to Settings and Edit Profile in the left-hand menu bar. You can change your user title to whatever you want (as long as it fits and complies with ECF rules, of course)
