I was going to mention to Cindy that her dog is probably getting shown the ropes up there by my dog. And I guess your dog. And Wheez's. And ....,

I'm thoughtfully vaping my Malibu on the 650 irrid, and I just realized I forgot Jan 5th, my late Grandfather's B-day. I always have a bourbon, straight with a splash of water. In his memory. He had a beer and a shot every day of his adult life. It was his side of the family that made the fine bathtub vodka.

My list is growing...
1. Torque
2. BBQ
3. Dog
4. Jim Beam

Ok I'm a confused about the list above, Cindy's dog and I do know I still want BBQ

It's a list of things I need to pick up.
1. My Halo vapemail is MIA. Acctually, in Jersy, but not in my mailbox. I'll hit a B&M
2. Yea, I hafta get some BBQ
3. Wheezal's touching post for Cindy makes me want to stop at the pound and get a dog again.
4. I have to toast to Grandpop, and I need Bourbon.

Also spinach and bacon for that warm bacon dressing salad.

AngiBe, you can do BBQ with that manicure? I don't see you getting saucy sticky fingers.

wait.

oh, ok, maybe...

jim beam isn't bourbon, it doesn't meet the bourbon specifications. it seems silly to make rules about what bourbon is and then not enforce them.
get yourself some buffalo trace.

Chesty, are you sure about that? Are you thinking of Jack Daniels, a Tennessee whiskey? I'm curious.

hmmmm, i'm pretty sure bourbon needs to be a minimum 40% alcohol and when I googled, jim beam at least as sold in australia is 37%.
it looks like jack daniels is also 37%, it's not called bourbon, but it's called whiskey, and whiskey also has a 40% rule.
i don't know. they taste alright to me though.

looks like jim beam in the usa is 40%, at least that's what it says on the web site. I don't know why it's 37% in australia, probably for tax reasons.
there's a lot of interesting history behind bourbon, like the rule that bourbon must be made in a new barrel was made by the barrel makers to keep them in work. used bourbon barrels are shipped to Scotland and other countries to make other types of whiskey, (scotch in scotland)
I'm sipping on some peaty scotch atm. it's a really nice smokey flavour.
