The Colored liquids are food colors. The clear liquid are natural flavors. Will they work ??

There's another thread on here about using monoethylene glycol. One web site I looked at said it could
cause health problems? I'd study this a bit more to be sure before experimenting on your mother.

This thread refers to monopropylene glycol and not monoethylene glycol. Apples and bananas.

I wonder if it would be strong enough for vaping. I know I have seen different brands in my store (not typical stuff) and they were to weak to do anything. You might look up a msds sheet on the carrier and then use that to make your educated guess weather or not to use it

7. Handling and Storage
Handling: Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Do not breathe vapour.
Ensure adequate ventilation.
Take necessary action to avoid static electricity discharges (which may cause ignition of organic vapours).
Ensure eye wash bottle with clean water is readily available. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Storage: Store in a cool dry well-ventilated place away from oxidising materials.
The material is hygroscopic - avoid moisture ingress by keeping containers tightly closed.
Materials suitable for storage containers are mild steel, stainless steel, butyl rubber.
Unsuitable materials are copper ,copper alloys, most rubbers and most plastics.

SwanTek SDS - Monopropylene glycol USP Grade

Not sure based on the msds that I would choose to use it. Based alone on the flamability. To me food safe and vape safe are 2 different things. I don't know maybe this was discussed somewhere already.

So it boils down to what flavoring extract process they are using,, are they using a natural or artificial flavoring process, and what sweeteners if any are used in them which may or may not effect the Attys we use, this is what it boils down to, and how good they are !!! that's all that really matters with these, or any flavorings in reality that uses PG/VG, or alcohol bases !!!

Yes, they are the same chemical.

eta: I should clarify, monopropylene glycol & propylene glycol are the same chemical.

monoethylene glycol is poisonous :danger:

Why would you post it is Poisonous/Dangerous ? that's not to fare and will scare people, we use this on a daily basis, it is NOT dangerous used in the small amounts we use it in, anything and everything is dangerous if over used, you could die if you ate 100 pounds of freaking string beans in a day. Plus they are selling it as a consumable so no way is it to poisonous or dangerous in my opinion...!!! PG in a USP Food grade is in many different consumable products and not so dangerous at all in this form in my opinion

hmmmmm So I can vape it directly ?? I'll buy it NOW and report back in 30 minutes lol!!

Flavor is weak , vapor production is weaker. I tried Banana and rose. Rose has a nice taste and very nice smell. But it needs more VG and more flavor IMO. It also doesn't vaporize completely. I put a fresh IMR in my REO and still no good vapor :(

I suspect the water in these flavors is having a huge impact on the vapor production. PG has very little vapor by itself and the water would cool the coil tempature too much. Sounds like they are not very concentrated and probably not a good option but since you have already purchased some and don't have a lot of options until your orders make it through customs, you could try to concentrate them a bit on the stove.

I think you misunderstood his post, mwa. He was referring to the OP's question in another thread about monoethylene glycol. :)

Please please look carefully when posting about chemicals. We don't need anyone mistaking the wrong chemical. The chemical that I posted as poisonous is very poisonous and not the same chemical as the pg we are using.
