Yea... I'm still lurking around this forum. :p

After being very very indecisive and overly .... about everything, I decided to go searching around in some boxes of random crap stored in the garage. There, I managed to find a bunch of random e-cig parts from 2 years ago. I had to dig through my old e-mails to find out what they were, and I believe they're mostly parts for some old KR808Ds.

Actually, I'm not really sure because I found some other random stuff too. I have 2 packages of individually sealed cartomizers and a package of empty carts. There is also one atomizer, and 2 other random batteries that look slightly different from the 808Ds but seem to have the same threading. Maybe they are 901s? I also have a USB charger and a 808D passthrough.

What I wanna know is if I can salvage any of these parts. I don't remember why I stopped using them, perhaps they were giving me problems or stopped working. I guess I should charge them and see if the batteries work first? And I assume the cartomizers should be fine even if they're old if they have never been used? And that single atomizer... how do I tell if it's done for or can still be used? And since I haven't bought my new e-cig yet, should I get one that is compatible with these parts or should I just say screw it and buy everything brand new and forget about messing with these random old parts?

Ah, I'd think there's a 'reason' that they're stashed away and not being used.

Be very careful charging old batteries. If the voltage has gotten to low they're just as likely to blow as being overcharged. Maybe do it outside and away from everything.

Other then that why not try them again.
Worst that can happen would be they just don't 'do it' for you.

That sounds scary! I'm charging one of the manual 808D batteries on my computer right now. It appears to be getting a charge since the LED charge indicator on the charger is starting to get faster blue blinks now. I just tried filling up one of the carts and using it on the USB passthrough. Still works!! Liquid taste normal, but the throat hit is too harsh and I feel kind of dizzy and weird now. I definitely don't feel like I could keep hitting this over and over again. Perhaps the liquid is too strong? It is a 24mg mint flavored juice. The liquid also seems kind of thicker than I remembered. Maybe it's because its a little chilly in this room?
