How long will it take to charge a regular battery for the JoyE 510? & a couple of other random questions!

Hi,
I'm new to all this and currently my order is being shipped. I was wondering:
1.) how long it will take for my battery to charge (regular JoyE 510 battery for the cig look a like)

A couple of other random questions:
2.) How do you know when the PV needs recharging, does it just shut off? (I ordered auto, but feel free to explain about manual too because I am interested in that as well..)
3.) How do you know when you need to change a carto or add more e-liquid? Will vapor just stop coming out?

WELCOME TO THE ECF

1. It will take a 2-4 hrs depending on how much power is left in your batteries. It's best not to wait until it's fully drained since that can decrease it's lifespan.

2. When you feel that the performance is decreasing. If it's completely drained then the light will flash on most starter kits such as a Joye 510 or Ego. Automatics and Manuals will give you the same signs.

The only problem with an automatic is that it is easier to damage or kill the battery if a drop of juice enters the connection pin. It's a good idea to blow out the access juice out of the cartomizer. Also, DO NOT drip with these.

3. You will notice a drop in flavor. Generally, it's a good idea to top it off with 5 drops after 10-15 hits. Remember to take the cartomizer completely off the battery. Don't wait to long since the carto can end up being burned. Which means that you will be inhaling smoke coming from the polyfill and cotton pieces that are inside of the cartomizer.

This is one of the dangers that come with cartomizers. The best defense is to keep the filler material topped off and moist. Also take a break after 5 hits or so that it can wick again.

FYI: Standard cartos take 25 drops (1ml) of juice. Drip around the sides of the filler material in 5 drop intervals. While letting it rest a few minutes in between each interval. Then let it sit for 20-30 minutes before use. This can save you from burning your carto almost immediately.
