Not really new to e-cigs but new to the forum.

I previously had used DSE-901's and thought they were okay but was wanting more vaper so I ordered 510 parts from TotallyWicked (Empty Cartridges, 5-Pack Atomizers, 5-Pack batteries).

The issue I'm having is the batteries seem to kick out randomly... Not really like a cutoff but more like the switch doesn't realize I'm sucking. It happens at random times (i.e. 2 sec, 3 sec, or 4 sec) but happens with every drag. I doubt this is normal only because the first battery and atomizer I used out of the 5 today worked great all afternoon but then started doing it. I then took the other four, got them going and experienced the same thing with each of them. I know it's the batteries doing it because if I suck on the battery directly it still does it (effectively taking the atty and cartridge out of the equation).

Bottom line... is this normal for the 510 Auto batteries or did I get a dud 5-Pack?

Sorry I can't help you with this as I'm a fan of the manual batteries (you have way more control with the manual batteries - and more vapor IMO

Yea... I like the idea of the Manual batteries but I'm afraid I'll be hitting the button on the battery all the time. I work retail and keep my ecigs in a leather case in my pocket. I may buy some manual batteries to give them a try and see what happens but the autos worked fine for me with my DSE901's so I'm hoping it will be okay with the Joye 510... Hoping :)

I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you resolve the issue - maybe even trade out for manual batts - another good thing about the manuals - they don't roll off of tables and suchll;)

Only problem is that the 5-Pack batts from Totally Wicked are No-warranty because they are such a good price :( So if it's the case that the batteries aren't supposed to act this way it looks like I'll be ordering the more expensive ones from here-on-out. They'll just become my backup batteries! :)

Anyone have auto batteries that can comment on their experience? I've seen video reviews using auto batteries that don't act like this... but wondering what others have experienced.
