Found a high end spring loaded 510 connector

Got 3 from FD. Now I need to find two forstner bits to counter sink them in wood... The shaft is not long enough for thick bodied mods.

Dr G they are not ripoffs you need to read the post of how they came to be..

They weren't advertised as FD's production was because it was not on breaks site but the people who made the cad drawings(bap**) knew they were building them and they asked if they could..

Its all on the ecf forum.. Its in the vendors section I think, IDK its a huge post about sx-350. I also thought they did a China rude move, they did not it was all up and up..

Just because YOU didn't get them doesn't mean he's underproducing; they are actually available right now online at some other dealers and his restock is due in reasonable time. Selling 10k of anything retail with a moq of 1 involves a HELL of a lot of work on the back end, so he might just be producing what he's comfortable producing and selling, not to mention the tens of thousands of dollars he's sending overseas for each run.

Very typical of the entitlement attitude in America these days.


FWIW the varitube versions are unauthorized ripoffs which are of a worse design.

Actually I did get 4 of them in the couple of days he had the last order available. Thanks for caring though, I really appreciate your concern. I guess I didn't understand your use of "ACT" and thought you meant everything from producing, stocking, and being able to deliver the product to the market he advertises to. I'll just amend "ACT" to not include the deliverability part, that way we can agree he has a great "ACT".

BTW, I think it's a great product and encourage anyone wanting a really good 510 to try one of these. Just get 'em quick before another 2 week to 1 month wait occurs.

Yeah that could be costly -- i use cotton in my abs homemade plastic collar adjustable 510 it actually never has juice on it but-- caution over surprise..

Thanks for that heads up, a small wad of cotton if applicable gotta get one to see, definitely ordering FD's too..

Update on the Varitube connector: more than a week of abuse and it till looks and works like new. I'm very happy with these and I think I can actually feel it works better than the cheap regular 510s I've been using so far.

And priced fairly to boot! These will work very well in my epipe builds. I do like the FD 22mm ring option. Maybe Varitube will do the same. A larger offering would be nice too, in the 28mm range. He'd get all the business for these!

Built my first two mods with the FD connector. Trying the Varitube 22 mm connector with my next build. I do like the fact the FD connector comes with a soldering ring.

True true. I actually have a situation where I can't use the FD negative ring. They're all out of the 14mm!!

the one thing i did to these varitube connectors is drill out the center pin housing to let the wire glide through much easier. also, if you have a leak, these connectors arent liquid tight and juice has a chance to run down into the mod.

i like em a lot!!
