Found a USB Passthrough for the 401

I just looked at esmokershop today and noticed he is selling a usb passthrough for the DSE401. I was one of the first people to try his DSE401, and all the parts are compatible with the Smoore M401/ Piolt/ EVO. So all you other M401 fans, looks like I found the first supplier who sells them.

Got mine! I've been waiting for this passthrough. So where are these guys located? The company info contained NO company information and the About Us was the same generic blah blah blah blurb.

thanks, I think all of us 401 fans have been waiting for one for months. I have never had one, and I am excited to use it.

praga - you are the only one who has a 401 passthrough, you should advertise a thread on this product alone. There are many 401 fans on here that are looking for one.

I see it's somewhat advertised in a sticky but someone could always start a thread on his forum that it's now available....maybe with a link to it? That would bring it to others' attention too.

I know just enough about computers to be dangerous, but I'm wondering about the load these put on the power supply of your computer. I would hate to burn out my power supply. I'm thinking we would be better off with something that plugs directly into the wall. Any opinions??

I can't make any claims one way or the other, but I can say that I dont know anyone personally that has harmed their computer with a USB passthru.

Buy a Kensington battery pack or a wall powered USB hub.

I use an APC battery pack, works great.
