Has anyone ever heard of DHL before??

edit: I posted this in a few threads because i am a little concerned as i have never heard of this DHL before.

DHL is big company. I had many shipments from dell through DHL. Only problem with this company, they will leave at your front door if you are not available even for signature required packages.

Mine came and so far the ones I've tried have worked fine. I put a bit of "Hard as Nails" glue on the end of the line coming from the battery (cigarette end) to make sure I don't twist and turn those wires loose. Something I read on here that others have done.

You may want to think about modifying it a bit. The problem is bending the wire at the entrance point too much will break it. The nail glue is still hard, and bending the wire at that point may do damage. I used a small glob of clear silicone on the end. The wire then enters a soft spot, and the silicone is flexible to let the wire slightly move without kinking.

The Hard as Nails seem to be flexible as well when used this way Jim. I just played with it a little and it acts more like a silicone than hard glue. Not sure why, but it is working well. If I have a problem I'll definitely go to silicone.

Thanks!

Sounds OK then. While using the passthrough, you're constantly moving the wire. The wire will tend to break where it enters a hard surface. You want to cushion it, sort of like a shock absorber. I thought the glue hardened, that's why I mentioned it.

I understand. I'll keep an eye on it and if I do encounter a problem I'll definitely remember the silicone.

I must be too much of a 'girl'.

Sorry, couldn't help myself....

But now on a serious note:

Are you using 2 gaskets per tank? one for the top and one for the bottom? I see you'd have to make a hole in the cap but is there also a gasket there to hold it all together?

Just the one gasket in the bottom. Grind out the lid so the drip tube frictions in and press down to the top of the coil. Since the lids screws onto the tube, it's as stable as it gets.
