The C4/Ego set up was what I went into after the blu starter kit. Roar Strapple was my first liquid I tried in that set up, kinda liked it. Was such an improvement over the cig-a-likes. About a month later went and bought a MVP and a few evods. Thought there would never be anything better. Well until the Protank and nautilus tanks...Wow, life was good. Then the wattage race started sometime in 2014 and all that stuff seems so obsolete. Was great at the time though.

I forgot all about the MVP, the first gen one was my first mod. I loved that thing with the C4's, Vivi Novas, and then moved onto the incredible Nautilus.

Speaking of the Nautilus, that tank taught me never to purchase vape stuff off Ebay. I bought one and the counterfeit was so bad. The air control ring was a plastic band painted silver with holes in it. The guy gave me my money back and told me to keep it. The only thing usable was the glass.

The CE4/5 line got me off cigs, but shortly after I switched to Evods and T3S (higher capacity :) ), preferring the bottom coil. So never umped on the Vivi Nova train. Other things being equal, bottom coils run a tad cooler vape, or the same temp vape at a higher power, since the coil is further from the tip.
Yeah. Top coils died the death alright. I don’t think there are even any pods out there that do that one and some of em even have old style cigalike ceremic cups. Which is actually reasonable. Ceremic cups are great if you can fit your coil in one.

And then Rayon came on the scene....

I still want to try hemp but that is just because I'm a loser. Eco wool the idea is tempting LOL. Also I have a super short piece of ceramic wick I have not yet tried.

Sally's has just never let me down yet!

I have a bag of Egyptian cotton I still haven't used. I still have ceramic rope. I was hooked on that when it came out. It's fun to play with, you should try it. I used it in my Limitless once and it vaped great, except I had to keep the tank full or it wouldn't absorb well. Kind of looked like a modern day mop wick.

Oh yeah, I still have my original MVP. I was so proud of that mod I would show it off to complete strangers. Then I would brag about how you could charge your phone on it, too. People must have thought I wandered from the local institution.

Yep these were about the best vape you could have from this style of atty...nice vapour but they still suffered from funny tastes and I was replacing coils constantly...nostalgia :)

Ceremic rope I have not heard of before. Is it a different material than silica? Or is ceremic merely the use it is put to? (I.e. kiln gasketting etc.)
