I had been wondering why the likes of Phillip Morris and Co. had not already begun to pump $$$ in to R&D in developing the Phillip Morris E-cig.

I can understand how some people might not think this would be a good thing as it would most probably increase the costs of the end product... that said they would have the power to lobby the government and pay for any complex licences or adhere to ISO standards and thus bring e-cigs in to the mainstream.

I cannot wait for the day that I may be able to grab a bottle of juice from my local corner shop....

But then that said if we went down the paths of standard etc. I would imagine juice might not then be available in bottles... surely they would have to be able to meter the doses of juice provided in a given cart... I can see them creating blister packs of the things now.

One thing is for sure... the next five years will most likely herald large changes in the e-cig industry.

definetly makes sense almost every purchase choice i've made for vaping has been with the intent to disassociate from cigarettes.

Interesting article. It would be nice if he were a bit better informed as to who uses ecigs
I dont see many really on here that are looking for young hip. Many of us are older users, and much to the politicians surprise they may find out that we vote

It's very interesting to get the story from that point of view. I wonder if the FDA ever sent the results of the ECig "test" to the industry? I would rather hope that big tobacco stays out of the ecig industry, but there's no denying they have a lot of clout to "make it so".
