Hi everyone,

So today, in the spirit of thriftiness, as well as *really* using things -not just throwing stuff away left and right, I had an idea that maybe I could still use the bottom section and heads from the ismoka BCC tank that the plastic tank section is definitely trash on.. but put a glass tank on? My searched have not turned up anything yet.. and right now, I'm not feeling very hopeful... but it got me thinking about the bigger question...

I'm wondering if anyone has success stories about re-purposing, mixing and matching, or advice and tips on what to do with all of the various stuff and parts that I know I have just started to amass?

In the broader sense of the question, what does everyone do to combat various piles of "stuff" from collecting dust or going to the landfill? A lot of the stuff I have, for example, has been opened/used/taken apart/etc. and would not be suitable for PIF, as that was my first thought for any appropriate items.

I'm curious to hear all kinds of input! From what I've seen so far.. there's a lot of great craftiness out there! :thumb: Thank you everyone, as always you are very much appreciated!

note: I apologize if this is in the wrong section.. wasn't sure if it should go in a 'modding' area..

I haven't been doing this long enough to have much accumlation of parts, but I've re-purposed an old eyeglasses case into a holder for my ecigs while I'm out & about, converted a cheap cupholder to hold them in the car, so they don't roll around on the passenger seat, and an envelope organizer into a juice/tank holder. I figured out how to use an old-style rubber stamp holder for my Spinners on the coffee table.

I'm keeping all of my used coils for when I start to wind my own, even the ones for my Aspire BDC's, in case they can eventually be rebuilt. I love taking old stuff & making it useful again. Everything has a purpose, if you hold onto it long enough......

I'll just leave this here

I have a whole collection of protanks, and coils that just sit now that I'm in the world of rebuildables. I have like 4 PT2s and 3minis and like 20 coils I have rebuilt that just sit in a drawer and collect dust! Such a waste of good vape gear. Some day someone I know will want to upgrade from their gas station starter kits!!
