Fredericton NB Vape Meet....

Ok, so I've been busting my .... for the last little while to help others become aware of the benefits of the e-cig. I have easily helped 10 people take the first step, and am hoping that a meet in the Fredericton Area will make it even more prominent.

I've started breaking ground with a promoter to get this off the ground. If all goes as planned we could see this meet happen this Spring! It will take place on a Sunday evening at a local establishment, serving food, drink, and of course the magic ingredient, VAPOR!!!

In order for me to do this, I need some feedback. If I see enough interest, I will spend as much time as I need be to make this happen. Please spend a moment to let me know if this interests you, and what you would like to see at an event like this. Oh, and pass this along to anyone who either already vapes, or is considering.

I agree 100% Aggo, what better way to educate yourself than do it face to face! Besides, just the fact that you get to try differnt juices, and meet fellow vapers.

PS: I'm uber jealous that the TO area has so many meets... maybe someday I'll make it that far west to enjoy one myself.

Bump ! I`ve been trying to get on of these going forever now, problem with Freddy is that we have many vapers but few that are willing to get together, I call them lone ranger vapers, we need to unite and meet up !

Well I think that if it organized.... the will come. Spead the word around Neon, I`ll do it at work, I`m sure we can get between 15 and 20 ppl out + anyone who sees the advertising.

Will do, what venue do you have in mind? Me and TBEL had spoken to the owner of the grill on york and he seemed to be on board with it, he mentioned having it on an off night to start off and see where it goes from there. That was last year so it may still be available. Its not the classiest joint but they have food and drink

I've been in contact with the promoter there, and I think we're good to go. It would be a Sunday evening, which means we'll have the place to ourselves. This also means we can have a bite to eat along with a cold one. I'd like to have a meet this spring ideally, but my schedule is packed pretty much full. I am going to do what I can to make this happen, but I need more interest, so please spead the word. Once I have a confirmed 15 people, I can make it happen.

I think the Grill is a great spot, great atmosphere, room for lots of people, not too big, but plenty of room for the turn out, and as it grows, we have the deck outside as well.

OK, well I was really hoping to have a bigger turn out here, and more feedback. I really appreciate everyone who has posted, and I think that the word of mouth alone will make this a successful event. I am really over whelmed with weddings at this time, so I have to put on the back burner for the next 5 weeks, but I will be re-visiting this idea in the near future.

Please continue to let me know if you are interested in the event, and any suggestions you have to make this a fun night.

Word of mouth is all we have, I can count the Fredericton vapers who are a member of ECF on one hand. I`d be happy with ANY turnout, congrats BTW on your upcoming wedding with hair like yours, you couldnt stay single for long, lol. Women love that romance novel look

OK, so 1 wedding down, my sister's to go, and I'll be able to get some major focus on with this vape meet.

There's been a lot going on with HC right now too, so it's even more important we have this so we can make sure other vapers are aware, and fight back as we all should.
