After you took the top and bottom off and put back together were there any signs of leaking when you filled back up?

Nope. They sealed up great.

I've also trimmed the wicks and thinned them a bit. Then I filled it with 100% VG. Working awesome!!! I am loving this!

OK I may be the only clueless one, but just in case anyone else doesn't know this...these have to be filled UPSIDE DOWN with a syringe or they will spring a huge leak about halfway through a tank.

I filled two of them yesterday using the little bottle they provided and both of them leaked out half a tank.

Today I filled them upside down and no leaks after 16 hours.

Excellent info Tina! This should be done with any bottom coils.

On a bright note, once I figured this out, I am loving these...love the easy draw, the warm vapor, and oddly enough I REALLY like the tiny thin mouthpiece...I wish I had more like that for my other setups :)

I thought there was a video showing the fill method. I use the bottle you sent, just hold the C8 sideways and tilt the bottle once the tip is inserted. Then place the plug while still holding the C8 sideways. Turn upright and install the mouthpiece. Worked 3X for me so far.
The biggest issue for me seems to be the dry hits and if I take a long draw there is a light burn taste. I just have to use this slowly and sparingly.

LordDavon told me the "tilt" didn't work for him...he got a leak.

what kind of juice are you using, if pg it should be fine, if thicker , lord found a way to cut the wicks so that thicker juice can be used. thats besides that they should be broken in as well whcih you did obviously.

My ego adapter on the Provari works great with the stardust. It will not fire the C8. I hate to adjust it, because then the stardust may not fire. Oh, phooey. It's a little cool for me on the ego. May have to be an emergency purse backup Vape. Vaping well on the ego even if a little cool for my preferences, and no leaks! Will have to resolve this adapter connection to be a win for me.

Shhh... You figured everything out on your own. ;)

Yes, the tilt didn't work for me. Once my fill bottle wasn't full anymore, I tilted the C8, and it leaked out after I vaped half, and then put it down for a bit.

I can cut and thin the wicks just like the Vornado, and it works like magic. I can run PG at 4.2V nicely, and it hits harder than almost anything out there. VG is running at 3.7-3.9V, and I am not getting any dry hits at all. I am really enjoying these.

NOTE: I have killed 3. Only brought one back from the dead so far.

i didnt try to kill mine tho i took a nap got up tried to take a vape and provari gave me e1 error which mean adjust voltage or bad carto it was set at 3.7 took it off the provari put it on my kgo no firing at all its dead

Wow. That's weird. I would pop the top off, clean it out really well, and let it dry. I wonder if the e-liquid is causing a short.
