Surprisingly I have not had anyone take me up on this offer yet.

I have suggested to a few people that they create an account here and take you up on your offer - I think it's just too much work for them. Do you have an email address I could give them? Something? ;)

I know they'd hit you up!

If the opportunity ever happened that you could part with some, I go to the casino every month or 2 and have always wanted some to hand out to smokers that seem interested in my PV. I think it could be a good opportunity as there are many smokers there, some could care less, but always have a few that are interested in mine. Best of luck to you in this. Great thing you are doing.

It's on the website, so I don't think he would mind me posting it here.
Save everyone some trouble... :2cool:

Nope, I don't mind.
Then again, if it's to much work for them to join here or visit my site, will they even try an ecig?

@Brutes. Let me see how it goes here. Believe me, I want smokers on e cigs, the problem is finding genuine folks that will give it some effort. But I guess I will run into that, waste time giving them away to people that could care less about their health.
I'm unsure how to handle this.

I say give 'em an ECF business card first!!! That is the best (and 1st) thing that anyone ever did for me was to give me the link here... :thumb:

I did a lot of research before I even joined, and a friend offered to make a gift of my starter kit, but got me the disposable first, just to make sure that it was something I would really like before spending the money.

Switching to vaping is a whole lifestyle change... it's not as easy as just pulling a cig out of a pack and lighting up, so the person really has to be ready for that!!

I just thought that you would like to hear a success story... I sent one of your disposables to a friend of mine and she really liked it... Then I won a contest last week for a starter kit that I will be sending to her, along with some of my DIY juice!! It's not the greatest kit, but it will keep her going for a while until she can afford something better...

And it all started with your generosity by giving away those disposables!! :thumb: Thank you so much!!!

I would say then that this is the first success story I have heard related to me giving them away. Kinda sad there are not more.
But great for your friend, I image that starter kit is a bit better than the disposeable. So I imagine she should like it even better.
I sure hope it works out for her and she decreases analog intake.
Keep us posted on this.
Thanks!

I'd seen your generous Copper giveaway contest but didnt see this till today (Thanks for the timely bump SK)

Rick I wish I had a few of your business cards, but some ECF ones will do. I'll write your info on the back of a few and give them to some of the hold-outs I know that just never seem to get around to following up on ordering a kit. And I'll put the VaporAlley url on them too, since that's the one you'll be using going forward. Thanks for the offer, and I hope you hear from a few of my friends soon.

I did get 4 requests today.
Forgive me (because I don't want to and am not insinuating).
Some folks PM'd me and say they want one for a family member. These folks have many posts here and are obviously vapers.
So my question is, has this family member not tried theirs? Is there a need for me to send one if they already tried one?
Now of course this family member could be far away so they have not tried one, hence the need for me to send one.
So again, I am not making any accusations, I just have limited supplies and only want to give these to folks "it is worth giving to".

Do I want people to buy a kit from me after they tried one? Of course!
But I honestly did not start this to "get sales" as much as I did that I genuinely want people to quit smoking.
If I spend "a few bucks" and someone quits smoking because of that, it's worth every buck, whether they buy from me or not. (or wether I will ever know or see them)

So anyway, please only ask for one if you think the "receiver" will actually use it. (and not toss it somewhere, never to be seen again).

On the other hand (some will say) that I shouldn't be so picky if I give stuff away....true...but this DOES cost me money.

Thanks for listening :)

Oh, 5 e cigs are going out tomorrow. PLEASE post any progress (or failures)

Rick, a few of those were hopefully from some of my smoking friends. Since I have friends and family spread all over, I hope you don't mind that I notified them your offer via my Facebook page. I did include the link to your site as well for them to look around on it and see what else is available to them. Here's what I posted:

From what they replied back one of my old high school buddies who lives in Iowa, and 2 local friends (husband and wife) have contacted you to give it a try. And by all means, when they start asking where to get more gear, I'll point them in your direction....especially when they're ready to move up to a real mod >

It's hard to say for sure, because each case is different, but I would have their friends contact you themselves if they are really interested... :vapor:

The one I gave/sent to my friend was because she lives 1/2 way across the country, is on disability and can't afford to spend money on something she might not like, but had also been following my experiences on Facebook and was genuinely interested in them (and even inspired by being my able to make the switch... ha!!).

Yet there is a woman in my building who has some of the other tenants complaining about smelling her cigarette smoke in the hallway, and since the manager here knows I vape, she asked if I might have a talk with her... which I did the next time I saw her in the elevator. I also told her that I had a disposable I could let her have to try it out and to get a hold of me if she was interested... I have never heard back from her.

As the old saying goes:
You can lead a horse to the e-cig, but you can't make them vape!!

NOTE: I posted this before I saw Ever1ast's post above... Great minds think alike!! :toast:

Good evening,
I have friends at work who are constantly bugging me for to lend them FIX-UNS
so they can try out vaping, I have a homemade copper from you thread, roughstack, darwin,
and some box mods that I built. The problem is they don't like to give it back, so now I don't give
them chargers, we'll see how that works.
How much for me to buy a couple of kits from you? The cheapest I have found for a non disposable kit is 10$ from madvapes.
Thanks in advance for your time, also thanks for the copper springs-they were perfect.
