Sheep I feel were you are coming from and the long post that I had drafted that went to the computer cosmos addressed those issues.
Pay it forward originally came about from Beatty'sGirl (from the other site) that fell
through some hard times or between shipments or whatever. Someone donated a couple of bottles of
juice no strings attached to tide her over, until her shipment came in etc...
There was no compensation involved here, but she felt obligated and offered a couple of bottles (pretty much equivalent in value) to someone else that might be needy. "Pay it forward". Someone else that was needy accepted the offer with the understanding that it was a good Samaritan gesture and when time permitted you should pay such good deed forward. This of course is meant to keep folks off analogs. It went rather well for a while, and then it turned into more of a swap thing than its original intent.
To the point that unless the offer went you had to sweeten it after 48 hrs. BS That is also what started to happen here. Which of course is BS.
In the past couple of weeks to a month ago, the PIF forum as been abused by people without any scruples, coming forth with tear jerking sob stories, accepting hand outs and then selling them for profit elsewhere. As far as I am concerned, as long as there is vultures around, PIF is dead.
If someone wants to create a swap thread then by all means I will support that. Unless it is somebody I know, then no stranger will be receiving my charity. I am far from a heartless SOB, but my good nature will not be abused, and that is what happened to the main PIF thread.

), but I just got my diploma 2 months ago and I still have to finish some work before applying to compagnies, so I haven't had any income for the last 2 months. I have only 2 working atomizers left (one slowly dying) and can't buy more since I'm broken.
