Glass is recommended because it can't react with VG, PG or NIC and it's allied alkaloids. Amber glass is best to reduce light exposure which can degrade the NIC. Fill all the way as VG and PG have low freezing points and don't expand like water when frozen. Glass is worth the extra cost in my opinion. I use 2 oz boston round amber bottles with polyseal caps and add some teflon plumber's tape to the bottle threads to make sure they are airtight. Smaller bottles are good so you can divide up your supply and keep what you aren't going to use for awhile frozen. The small bottles are also cheaper. For me the shipping was expensive. You might want to source locally. My :2c:

Wholesalevials is where I got my glass amber bottles and it is free shipping.

You just made my month!!!!!!! :D I don't know why Google can't find good online bottle sellers.

edit: Wow they are expensive. The shipping must be factored into the price. Probably the same as e-bottles.com. Nice to have more than one supplier though.

I rebottle nic in 120ml (4 oz.) glass bottles, leaving a little space (gloves, safety, etc.). Then I put them in ziplock freezer bags and put them in the freezer in a box. No plastic bottles. After all, there is still food in there. lol
This place in is OH, maybe shipping would be cheaper to you for glass bottles? I just ordered some and shipping was around $10 for a case of 120ml amber and 100 30ml PET. I thought that was reasonable.

Ya. Sounds better than ebottles.com. Thanks. You can never have too many bottles. Also to the op (since you brought up safety glasseye) I also use a chemical respirator since I have one. NIC has fumes. Probably overkill but you want good ventilation.

Hi Moogle,
Glass is best, yes, but the best advice seems too be - DO NOT fill all the way. Even Kurt ( chemist) had an accident because of overfilling.

Hi glasseye,
I bought bottles elsewhere twice, but in all honesty, it usually works out cheaper with free shipping wherever I buy my nic or flavors.

Thanks for posting the link to my storage method, Salem! In it are links to all the bottles and other items I use. Freezer temps do not cause nic-liquid to expand. However, you should leave a couple mL headroom anyway. Not from freezer expansion. I had one bottle of 100 mg VG that was filled to the rim for storage while my kitchen was pretty chilly in the winter. When I took that bottle out into my hot office on a summer day, that liquid expanded, and leaked out from under the euro insert! Oops! Not making that mistake again

I found this from Kurt.

Hoping not to hijack this thread but its the most recent on the subject. I see everyone is getting amber bottles, but I have cobalt blue. As long as they are in tinted bottles that's ok right. I will also have them in a freezer sealed in a box so there wont be any light to them until I pull one out anyway.

Second part of the question as I have seen mixed answers across forums, etc. I thought the purpose of freezing the nic juice was to preserve it and make it "live" past its "expiration date" of about two years. I posted how I was researching how to freeze and he responded "I freeze my nic but it will just get less potent when it gets past its use by date". I don't think there is any other way to interpret this other than freezing does nothing to preserve the life of the nic and it will expire when it would normally expire. Anyone have thoughts or another way to interpret this? Thanks in advance and great info in this thread.
