French study: e-cigarettes are not a gateway to real cigarettes for youth in France

This morning a news article showed up on the site of Le Parisien. In this article they stated that, after questioning some 13.000 school going kids by Dr. Bertrand Dautzenberg, they didn't find that e-cigarettes are a gateway to smoking but rather the opposite since the numbers of kids smoking has dropped significantly over the last three years.

In French: Etude : les ados moins accros au tabac

In 2013 cigarette sales dropped by more than 7.5% here in France... that has never happened before. Wonder how that happened.

I posted it to Facebook after posting about the UK study and discounting what UCSF and the ALA had to say in the article I posted. I warned them that either they needed to be be able to read French or use something like Google translate.

It's a shame none of MSM picked up the study that I could find.

Worse. The study itself was on our side. They're pulling the snippets from a CDC press conference. Not at all the same thing.

We need a new slogan that we keep repeating, my sister thinks politicians are a lot like the bar patrons she used to work with.....repetition gets through, regardless of quality.
