French toast from scatch

I use Zeppola frequently. It is almost a donut, but lighter tasting than a glazed donut flavoring, good fried flavor but not greasy.
To me it loses some fry flavor with steeping, but still my go to fried thing. I don't care for glazed donut style vapes.

I was responding to Tabac man (don't worry bro... I love ya!) The real trick to making french toast is to not sog up the bread... just a quick dip and into the pan it goes. Hey, at least I'm not trying to make pizza vape juice

I'm working on that... Although the farthest I've gotten is a smoked sweet paprika

I tried a commercially made McDonalds Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit vape once. All I can say is don't. Same with Hawaiian Pizza or anything with bacon....
