Hey, Super_X et. al. that were on the skype call. Great show, love the call in format.

BTW, I got that very same Coil Master just yesterday. Attempted to build a few coils and they all turned out jacked up with wraps laying over wraps. I was like "this is jenk". I slept on it. I figured "Hey, you know what, I bet I'm doing it wrong. I bet if I don't apply downward force while winding it, the coil will lay just right". Yep. Today I wrapped a few coils on it just giving a bare minimum of force and those coils are some of the prettiest I've ever wrapped. Anyway, glad to see you like it too, I think it's a bit less of a hassle to deal with for most folks than the artistic (which I also own but never got into). Maybe I'll call in next week since my Odin should be here

Been playin with kids and new toys all day

I will make a build vid on the coil master. Now that I actually vaped a set of coils I wound with it, I (choking here) actually think it produces better vaping coils than the gizmo and fishing reel.

I've subsequently rebuilt all 4 of my attys using coils created by it and I'm very pleased.

Here's a build I just completed. Look at how nicely oxidized those coils are.

Yes, don't push it together. Just let it do its deal.

Was gonna get the artistic but don't really have a table in my lil corner that I can use it on. Gonna watch the vid, but if you didn't address it in the vid, why do you like it better than the tensioned coils?

I've got about 20 mins left of the video, but wanted to say, I do love the call ins. you might want to check out google hangouts. We can do up to 9 or 10 for free, and as each person talks, it will put them in the middle of the screen. But you can also click on just one person to stay on, or click on another. If a person wants to show something that they have.....they can do something called "present" and it will stay on them til they stop presenting. I think I'm debadooB on there if ya wanna hit me up and try it. You just need a google + account.

ETA if nothing else you could try google hangouts and the vc and see which works best for ya. never heard of vc, may have to check it out.

Watched the video, nice job. I liked the call in bit it was just a little hard to hear the callers at times. Thanks for the shout out, I laughed when you said "you're probably a hottie and I'm calling you a man. Or you're a man and I just called you a hottie" just an FYI, I'm a man. Looking forward to your review of the Hellboy. I just wished you vaped flavored juice so you could tell us how the flavor is. I was on Chowders list for that atty but I dropped off cause I was worried about a lack of flavor. Can't wait for the Derringers to come in. I have one that isn't BF and I vape it constantly.

Russ you need to try a twisted coil!

I've played with them in the past but for the hell of it I went for one tonight since sloth mentioned it in your video.

Since I'm a dual coil guy lately I built a dual coil twisted setup thst came out to 1.10 ohns. 10 wraps around a metal coat hanger. don't know the size of it around.

Not sure what coil was used as its an old batch of twisted I made prob a year ago. Guessing 30 awg.

Started at 7 wraps but one side came out to 1.74 so I thought 9 but it seemed odd and went 10. Next build I'll try 7 since it prob would be best at lower sub ohms. Takes a while to heat up.

Flavor is off the hook and the warmth is awesome so far! Can't believe I'm enjoying it that much over the norm 7 wrap dual coil at 1ohm setup I've been running.

Really sweet and strong.. can really taste the nic. So I'd prob have to cut back on the nic in my flavorless from 10mg.

Stream, I know 30g twisted duals at 5 wraps comes to 0.9 well at least mine did. I made a pretty tight twist using danny brandt's method with the pen. A drill might be different, dunno.

Russ, I have the solution to you vaping unflavored. When you get ready to review an atty......vape it, take your notes on it....... send it to me, and I'll let ya know how they do for flavored juices!! Willin to do this for ya, just cuz I'm sweet like that!!

oh and I also had to giggle when you got tongue tied sayin yur name, cuz I always have to think it out to even type it. lol But yeah I was glad when you turned your music down, made it easier to hear the caller inners.

I think guests are a great idea - should help to increase the feeling of community around here. I second the Google Hangout idea mentioned by... um... somebody. I've heard it can be incorporated into v-see (vee-see? I forget).

I like your vids, man. Way before I ever considered moving to Reoville, I had your battery safety video saved.

Sorry my damn name is ridiculous. I forget what it even means, but it's Norwegian (a part of my heritage I'm proud of) & it translated to... something that I liked at some distant point in my past when I was seeking a screen name to plug into various websites. I've always pronounced it (in my addled head) "Lye-spare". Thanks for the shout-out; hardest decision I have now is which Rob-made BF'er to buy next to replace my regulated devices!

ha, Russ, now you got me curious to try one of those coilmasters... I've been spinning coils similar to that for a long time now and always got a perfect coil and an awesome vape. I know you tried my spinning method as I do it, but it was too hard on the fingertips, seems the coilmaster solved that for you. I'm glad you tried it again I didn't want to keep harping on the fact that formed can be as good as tensioned as long as it's uniformly wrapped, and then I even thought maybe I'm missing something here so I went and made a tensioning rig just to know for myself and yeah, I'm happy with my formed coils man. the tensioned were no worse for me really, but I think the formed is a little more of a warmth in the vape which in some cases I do like more, but overall they do vape close to the same.

it was pretty funny to me especially when you went and did that coiling video with the fishing reel and the cut down fishing rod and the winding jig bolted to the table man, all I kept thinking was man, I can wrap a perfect coil while walking down the block and chewing gum, if I had to get out a whole elaborate deep sea fishing rig and bolt a jig to a table just to wrap a coil I'd probably never rebuild my atties

I gotta pick up one of those coilmasters and see if it makes coils as good as my pinch and twist jig

Lol. Yeah. It's good. I'm very closed minded sometimes especially when I put so much effort into something that I think nothing can come close. Well I never gave that thing a chance. But their persistence and and the fact that even after a pretty negative review, shot it to me again made me say "this deserves a fair chance" I'm glad I did it. My gizmo is prolly retired.

But I ain't Kate Upton and no one needs to make a mad dash to buy these deals cause my boobies are bouncing as I ride a horse.

Buy it cause it works pretty damn well and the resulting coils vape just as good as my fishin deal - if not better

I too have bumped up my ID from the same 1.4-1.5 to now going 2.0-2.5mm and I find that the vape is as good but the wicking is much better, can take a longer hit before drying out the wick. how are you liking the 2mm?

Bro, yes, it's funny. When I was making nearly contact micros back in the day I found the vape better at that smaller diameter. I carried that over into my contact micro forray. Then I decided to bend a 2.0mm rod for my gizmo. It vaped excellently and yes, wicking was easier.

So it was only natural to try the 2.0mm pole on the coil-master. It vaped excellently and like I said, IMO, fired more evenly and held its end turns better than one wound under inconsistent tension.

So, you know me, if it's easier, I can consistently duplicate it and it produces the same or better results, I'm all in.

So yes, my coil building means, methods and materials have been evolving after a rather stagnant period of building basically the same coils but changing the methods I used to get there.

With all the air available to me now, I'm stuck right on 8 winds 2.0mm ID 27 ga kanthal A1 netting 0.43 to 0.47 depending on the atty.

So easy to duplicate, such a cig killing vape.

But I do have a slight advantage over ya'll (that's easilly cured with money):

They originally sent me 2 red ones. I sent one to scydivasloth to back check my findings.

I still had one red one and the new blue one they sent me. I mixed and matched them

That's not necessary, but having 2 means you have 2 matching poles for mounting dual coils . Also notice that those poles have a small lip on them to push a coil over and they are slipperier than music wire so you can use the same pole you wound on and reinsert into your coil to cue it

I have an idea that Ima talk to them about to improve this deal a bit but Ima wait till I have it drawn up
