Confused

I have a 51 Trio. I purchased a 51 Trio battery and it is not compatible w/the 51 Trio atomizer.

I was the fool who decided to try the "Free Trial" from E-mails I kept getting from Smoke 51. Although, I'm glad I did because I've quit smoking for over 2 mths now....and I do enjoy my vaping experience.....but I can't get a person on the phone to answer my question on how to exchange the new battery....nor will they respond to my emails....They also charge a small fortune for their products.....I spent 49.99 for this battery and could have purchased an M402 starter kit for less than this 1 battery....which people seem to like....

Anyway....Question is this.....What atomizers are compatibe w/the Redline Trio....and what atomizers are compatible w/the ORIGINAL trio.

I was thinking the 4801 was for the original????? Also, can I use the liquid to refill the cartridges and any particular liquid you'd recommend

1 last question.....I'm worried because the cartridges occasionally leak and get on my lips......Is this dangerous?

Thanks for your help!

juice on lips isn't really dangerous - I do it all the time and I'm still here to type about it lol. Its jsut a good idea to rinse if this happens, and you might get a 'burn' if a lot gets on your lips or you are sensitive to it.
I've had nic juice from pre-made bottles (ie, not the home DIY strength stuff) on my hands, my face, my lips, swallowed some..sometimes it does get all over t he place. I make sure to wash thoroughly with soap if that happens, and try not to be so messy next time

As for the trio - it sounds like its not worth the hassle you're putting yourself through ALm0226 - If I was you, rather than throw good money after bad, I'd get a new PV altogether.

I purchased the M401 today....2 atomizers, 2 batteries, 5 cartridges, 1 usb charger, 1 A/C charger for less than what I paid for the 1 battery from Smoke 51.

I also purchased blank cartridges and 2 different flavors of E Juice....Clove & Mentho....I'm a Marlboro lights girl but I heard vaping menthol is different than a menthol analog....We'll see.....

I also ordered a MN4081 atomizer for the Original Trio....I'll let you know if it fits the Redline Trio.....but even ordering the cartridges was more expensive from Smoke 51 so I decided to cut my loss and move on....

Thnks for the input.

i looked it up. i cant tell you exactly what it is. BUT i do know this. the atty will fit on the 510 batteries. same thread. its a LITTLE smaller in diameter but it will work.
i ordered a trial disposable kit for like 12 dollars that came with one battery 1 atomizer and 5 carts. it looks EXACTLY like that one but it was called something else. it had the number 7 in the name. im not at home to look at it.. it also came in a cigarette pack looking box.
here is a picture off the web of yours. notice the atty on the left. its got an open mesh/wic type. others may know what it is exactly.

Hi I got a smoke 51 trio. I have been using for maybe a month now, I did switch to joye510 because i didnt know how to use the trio. The Trio is a work horse for me now that I got it broke in. I have no idea what is compatiable with them I do know none of my 510 gear is compatiable except the wall charger and pcc. Smoke 51 is pricey so i just refill my own carts on them, My Atty gives off good vapor be it PG or VG and it keeps flavor good. I get good batt life out the Batts. The atties from the mall go for 15 bucks the website has them for 19.95. I wish i knew what the model number was for the battery on my atty it is stamped NO91028.

Now i do like my smoke 51, BUT it like the ease of my 510 so much better. Just wanted to share with you all. Smoke 51 isnt bad just way way overpriced. JMO

Ok, I can actually answer all of your questions rather easily.

1. The model of your Trio is determined easily by the word "Trio" located on the battery near the atomizer coupling. If "Trio" is RED, then it's a redline. If it's not, it's a Trio gold/standard.

2. The redline and standard atomizers ARE different. Although you may get a standard atomizer to work now and then in your Redline, you could actually damage the atomizer and battery as well. There are specific atomizers sold for each model, and online they state "only for use with Trio _____".

3. The model number for the Redline atomizers is: N1008121, and it is stamped onto the side of the atomizer.

4. They CAN use the e-liquids, but generally do actually work better using the Fifty-One brand cartridges.

5. EVERYTHING from Fifty-One and it's sister affiliate sites (i.e. Smokefreeonline.com) are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. I have no qualms with my Trio, but I wish I had someone donate it to me like u were so lucky to have. There are MUCH better systems out there that are easier to use, customize, maintain, and find supplies for, that even if the Trio WAS the best e-cig on the market (it's not), it still wouldn't be worth the purchase.

6. My recommendation is the Joyetech 510 (a.k.a. Titan, Joye 510, etc). It can be customized until your face turns blue, there are no shortage of sites that sell supplies compatible with it, and there is a starter kit to pretty much fit any budget. Essentially, it's the Harley-Davidson© of e-cigs. It may not be THE best on the market, but it certainly is just about the most popular, most replicated, and most customizable. It gives off excellent vapor, great throat hit, decent battery life, and the price is excellent.
