whiskey - redrhino and I have been trying for months to get Chad to let us do trial runs on the OMeGa. I was trying to give one as a gift in May too. Personally, I would love an OMeGa BB (in purple, of course), but I guess we'll all just have to wait . . . . . . . . and wait some more. :)

I know, I only had 2 prototype units. It has been tricky to free the machine up from SB/BB to get to work on the OMEGA. I should have learned my lesson from the SB that nothing is ever ever on time or when I thought it should be. :)

Here they are, forgive my lack of skills :) Hard to see the true finish, but the best way to describe it... slight smoke tint to it. Hard nickel....

What is the hole in the side of the top? That's just a vent or something mechanical right? That not a (shudder) LED is it?

(ok... must try to think like Chad... this is a rather artistic and innovative departure from the hard line fit, finish, quality, and function... (or maybe he just went wild after getting his very own cnc machine)... but)

It's a user adjustment for the switch/activation resistance?

Nope, vents are on the bottom. It is not a LED. It is not for adjustment. There are 3 of those on the actuator head, they are for disassembly....
Remember it is completely user servicable. If you look at the first pic you will see the OMEGA and the vent holes... I was being goofy with the reflection there....
