Actually I think they taste better than chicken. Fried in garlic butter is the way I cook them. Breaded and deep fried is when they do taste like chicken.
How old in dog years is an adult frog?
Not to veer off the Belgian trail but
we had a giant iguana in the yard recently.
Allegedly those taste like chicken also.
Always wanted a large iguana. They're just so mellow but their habit is a lot of maintenance or the smell is horrible.
This one was about 8ft from head to tail, very large. The "old lady"
was terrified of it.I kept explaining that the beast was a vegetarian and more afraid of her than she of it..
but one time the big lizard felt cornered and showed teeth so..
My son and a friend captured it and either released it elsewhere or killed it..I don't know
but we have a BBQ...
I'm sure they can't taste much different than gator and I have eaten gator meat.
Tastes like chicken.. LOL!
