Lynlee - I am also partial to "Drew" ;-)

Seabrook - I have a friend who's last name is Dornacker - pronounced "door knocker".

And I'm the mom of redheads. DS#2's "nick name" given to him by the cross county team is Red. He's actually proud of it. Only a few Jr High kids got nick names. He wears it proudly. However DS#3 hates to have anyone comment on his hair. Goodness forbid they touch his head.

How funny is that. My whole life I would have killed to have red curly hair. I dye it now, but curly is still out. It's too fine. Dh was born red. It's more dishwater now, but his beard is still red. I thought for sure my kids would have red hair. I even asked the ob while I was in labor what color #1's hair was. She said it was black.:blink:Noone has black hair in our family. It was actually dishwater once it dried. #2 is towhead blonde. Oh, well. I had a friend growing up with the reddest hair and light blue eyes that had navy rings around them. She hated it of course, but I thought she was gorgeous. I guess we always want what we don't have...

Yeah, well the dye job was very short-lived. I didn't appreciate my hair until I started college, then things started looking up. The thing with fine hair like yours and mine is that it curls quite easily, at least mine does. Both my son's and daughter's hair was so blonde it was almost white, which is funny b/c my father was full-blooded native American Indian, and my son's father was half Indian. Not sure where the red hair for me and the blonde for my two came from, LOL.

Still considering Veronica & Mae, but also threw in Willow Mae. I really like that one. I have been feeling stronger kicks this week. I've got the nursery started, got it painted and have a crib, a changing table, and some soft toys. I've gained 20 lbs. so that sucks and I have hip pain and it hurts to bend over. Last appt. the baby weighed 12 oz. It feels so weird having people have to do stuff for me because I have always been a do it yourself or it doesn't get done right type of person.

Due date is September 4th.

Hope everyone here is doing well! I'm actually going to a local vape meet this Saturday in York, even though I don't vape, I figured I can give some stuff away and maybe try out some zero nic juices since the ones I have still don't taste good to me.

Yeah, I am totally nesting! We had a junk removal service come and take all of our excess crap we've accumulated over the years. and I'm trying to get our house "ready" before I am too tired to do anything!

Yeah, my mother's middle name is Mae along with my husband's grandma. His dad passed away recently and his middle name was Lynne also. I told my husband Willow Mae and he was hesitant at first because it made him think of the movie from the 80s "Willow", but I think he is warming up to it. I'd really like to have a name chosen because I have a million other things to worry about.

OMG, that's the movie I thought of too. I'm not sure why that's a bad thing. (My parents had recorded it off of tv, and I didn't get all the way through it because I wasn't supposed to be watching it and they came home.) Maybe I didn't get far enough into it. I LOVE the name Willow though. :thumb: Congrats and enjoy the help now, because it only lasts a few weeks after the baby is born, then you're on your own again. :)
