India
I'm a vaper from India (its been a couple of months of vaping for me) and I know how NOTORIOUSLY hard it is to get e-cig supplies in India. My setup is an ego-c battery with a kanger evod which I bought after paying a ridiculous premium...the ego-c cost me 25USD and ONE eovd clearomizer was another 15USD and this is pretty much the best setup available in India. The e-juices I buy cost like 10USD for 10ml and I'm not talking premium flavours...these are "supposedly" low cost stuff like Hangsen and Liqua.

Now it so happens that I'm being sent on a training programme to the US by my company for about 15 days. For me this is an AWESOME opportunity to buy supplies from the US (within reasonable limits so I dont get into trouble with customs).

I'm current pretty happy with my battery but I really think I can do much better in terms of clearomizer and flavours. I'm thinking about would be a good "upgrade" from my current setup and about new and interesting flavours which I can get only in the USA. My favorites are usually "coffee" and related flavours...although that is more a function of the very limited flavours I've been able to try in India. I'm willing to experiment with both flavours and clearomizers.

My total budget for what I'm willing to spend would be like 100USD and I need to be able to order it online and get it delivered to Palo Alto.

Here's my question....what would be your top recommendations for stuff I should buy from the US given that this may be my only trip to what I consider the vaping "mecca" :)

Also....any other vapers from India...If you have requests for me, please let me know. I feel your pain about the limited availability in India and I'm happy to get some stuff for you and ship it to you India if you want (again, within limits given that I dont wanna get stopped by customs). btw...I'm based in Gurgaon, India.

I am currently in malaysia and I have the same issues. You can't import nicotine based elquids and local supply is pretty awful. Given your budget, I would go take a look at Mount Baker Vapors and EC Blends. They are both pretty cheap but mostly good. Be very careful about adding extra flavors to your orders. I can't comment on coffee type flavors. Take a look at both their websites before you leave india and try to narrow down your choices based on reviews. The liquids may take more than a month, sometimes longer, to steep. As for customs, peel off the labels and use a marker pen to write shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash and gel etc on the bottles and put them in a toiletries bag in your suitcase. You can order when you arrive in the US or order them before you leave and have them held at the hotel under your name. But make sure you clear that with both the hotel and the companies before you order. They both have good customer service. ECBlends sells 120ml bottles and MBV sells a huge 236ml size. I would go for 100ml and 50ml sizes in four or five flavors. Good luck!! :)

Hi and welcome! I hope you enjoy your visit! What type of training are you going to attend?

I second the suggestions of Mount Baker Vapor and ECBlends to get the most bang for the buck. Be aware that ECBlends can take up to 10 days to process your order and get it shipped depending on how busy they are. They list the lead times on their web page. And if your schedule allows, you really should go by some brick and mortar shops to do some taste testing.

While your in the states look for local shop, that's the second best idea.

Here is a list by states. USA Ecigarette Directory

Safe travels and welcome to the forums.

^^^ That. More so when it comes to liquids. They may cost a bit more in a vape shop, but you need to try before you buy on this one to get the most for your money. If you can find a shop near your location with a tasting bar and have any chance to get away this is your best bet for liquids.

Two places that ship really, really fast and only carry real hardware - no fakes - would be:

https://www.cignot.com/Default.asp
E Cigarette | Buy Electronic Cigarettes | E Juice - Mt Baker Vapor

Either of these places could get an order to you in three days with just standard ground shipping. That would be free shipping, depending on how much you spend.

Mt. Baker has an ECF coupon code. See the Coupons tab on the top of every ECF page to find it. Cignot doesn't do coupon discounts, the owner just gives people "that's what it is" regular pricing.

Both places have liquids, of course.

If you like your Kanger setup both places sell genuine Kanger parts.

Any particular devices you have seen that you are interested in? We can source places with fast shipping if we know what you might be looking for.

A couple of things....

1. Make sure you know about US regulations on liquids in your carry-on luggage! If you're planning on stocking up on e-liquid, most of it has to go into checked bags!!! (It would really suck if TSA made you toss your liquids in the trash, which they WILL do if you have too much in your carry-on....)

2. You might want to bring some empty (washed-out) bottles of shampoo, etc. from home, you never know when these might come in handy.

3. Do you have a friendly point-of-contact here? You could pre-order stuff (even from FastTech, if your trip is way in the future) and have them hold on to it for you!

4. MBV has always shipped my orders very fast. If you're here for 2 weeks, you could probably get in a sample order (order like 2-3 days before you leave home, to your hotel) and have time to try them out, and re-order. They have always been very fast for me!

Good luck on your trip, I hope you enjoy Palo Alto!
