Any Vapours in India?? Need Help ..Newbie here...

Hey there Guys...Just came to know about this site and was mind boggled about the amount of information here...

A month ago, I bought frm a local dealer the "e-health cigarette"...and was deeply unsatisfied...quickly went back to the analouges...but was determined to find out more...was a pain to find some local resellers in India ...but all of them had the crapy ones and the ones who said could order from outside were demanding unbelieveabl prices...almost 4 times the original price....

This was kinda sad...as I dont have the means to buy from overseas since I didnt have a PayPal account and Western Union in India wont allow us to send money from India, but only to receive money....

So, I was wondering if there are any guys from India who are into e-cigs? If yes, then could you please tell me how and from whom you source your stuffs from.

Desperately in need of your help as I really want to quit analouges.

Regards,
Danny George

e-health is a very weak ecig. Any ecig the same diameter as a cigarette is weak.

Can you order from the UK? Liberty-Flights.co.uk is a good shop. They have a US shop too and they are popular here.

For a slim ecig I like Joye 510 with MANUAL batteries - most people here use and recommend manual batteries. The 510 manuals are totally sealed on the threaded end so they are safe from damage by liquid leaks, and manuals make it easier to get a good hit - just press the button in a couple of seconds before you start dragging. It comes with atomizes and cartridges (and OK way to start vaping but tedious after a while). I recommend Boge 510 cartomizers on it for your favorite thinner juices. Boge are the most popular 510 cartomizer. And get a 510 drip tip for testing juices on the atomizer (you should only drip with manual batteries). Plus eliquid (PG is the thinner stuff. In the US I like to to 80%PG/20%VG (VG adds thicker vapor and smooths the TH and irritation of nicotine, dulls the flavor a bit). I don't use any more than 20%-25% VG in my cartomizers.

Downside of Joye 510 is short battery life - 180mah or about 2 hour of moderate vaping, 3 hours of light vaping. a 510 PCC is good to have as well as a couple of spare 510 charging cables (one for work, and a second one for at home)

For at home I use 510-threaded device with more charge like a Joye 510 mega xl manual battery (long, 280mah). And I have a Riva 510 (a very nice Ego clone Liberty-Flights.com sells - 650mah+ and if you buy one, ask them if it is the new model. The new model vape warmer with higher voltage than Ego).

The fat-battery Riva 510 and Ego use their own fast charger cable and can use the hotter LR (low resistance) atomizers and cartomizers which give a stronger hit. The slim 510 cannot use LR stuff nor the Riva/Ego fast charger (either can damage the slim batteries)

Thanks for the reply dormouse. I was actually thinking of buying the Ego-t Starter kits with 900 mah and some spare atomizers and some e juices. The thing is that I cant find a reseller here in India and the couple of guys I found here dont have one in stock but said they could order for it, but the price they qouted was way over the top....like 4 times the original price...which is kinda ridicullous...

Thats why I wanted to know if people here knew of any good source of the items....I have seen the Liberty Flight, Totally Wicked, Haven Gifts and Health Cabin sites. But then again, to buy from them I need a PayPal account to send them money. (Coz in India, all online overseas transactions need to be done thru PayPal, irrespective if you want to pay thru Credit / Debit. And to open a PayPal account in India, we need a PAN Number, which is used for Tax etc... And I dont have a PAN number yet) Another option is by Western Union, but this again in India, we can only receive money thru WU and cannot send money from India using WU. See my dilema!!!!!

Even if I used / found a friend to use his PayPal account...am a little scared if there will be some problems in customs for the imported stuffs....like the electrical items and the nicotine based e-liquids.

Do you know of any of any kind of solutions to the above mentioned problems/questions?

Do you know of any other Indians who are vapers? Coz they might know about these stuffs :)

Good luck getting a kit. Do you have a Visa card for purchases? Or have you tried a prepaid Visa card?

The American sites can't use PayPal for e-cigarette purchases. But Visa is generally an option.

Are you saying there is some kind of Indian law that prevents you from using a credit card?

Unfortunately the situation is VERY different and difficult in India. Ordering direct from China is not an option as India customs will not allow anything in from that country. This is not to say you can't find products in India that were "Made in China" but when you do you can bet they came in through the black market and are going to be priced accordingly. There was a gentleman here a few months ago that was investigating ordering from the UK but I don't know if he was successful or if he even persued it. So sorry India makes it nearly impossible for vapers!

Thanks Guys for all your feedback....

@bobs ...Credit cards can be used directly for US sites and I guess also for UK sites...but unfortunately, I dont have one...

@Uncle Willie ...I have been contacting the china sites, but they only accept Credit cards thru PalPal...and for Indians to get a PayPal account, they need to provide the PAN number which I told about in my previous posts...

@Dee5 .....Are you sure that Items from China cannot be imported to India? Do you or any of your friends have any experiance in this field???

    This is really sad... :(

Can you ask your bank to pay into a Chinese bank account? This is how I pay for the products I order from 2 different Chinese suppliers. I live in China and I don't have a credit card.

The easiest way would be to get your own credit card. Talk to your bank about your options. A pre-paid card should be easy to get because it involves no risk to the bank.

    Hey there Nicko,
I asked the banks here to send directly to a chineese bank account...and they said Since the purpose of transfering the money is for "purchase", I would need to provide "importing license" and other Tax details....which was kinda ridiculous since I was buying the items for my own personal use and not for business.

Besides, I guess Health Cabin does not support direct wire transfer...I guess I had a conversation with them before about this...

Credit cards take time to get processed here (months), but I will have to get it eventually.

Havnt heard about the "prepaid Credit cards"....will have to look into it.... :) Thanks for the suggestion...I think bobsy also had suggested this before.

    Hi,
So how has your quest gone so far ?

I work out of blore, and started on ecigs more than a year back.. here's my experience/suggestions..

I tried out the various chinese websites ( health*& others ) , but could not go through with it.. as they were primarily expoters/ no CC options ( only paypal or something similar ) / unreliable shipping in india

-> vapors.in : came across this website , got in touch with ayush ( contact # listed ), and ordered my first kit
I opted for COD ( cash on delivery ) for the first order, and it turned out to be the joye 510 kit.. He now offers only leo kits , but this is by far, the most reliable option for you in india, if you are starting out ..
The kits are overpriced, but am not aware of any other options that are reliable..

There are a few indian websites offering cheap PVs ( 100-1000rs ) ... essentially cheap throw away e-cigs.. have tried them out , they are absolutely worthless, so would suggest you do not even go there

-> US/ European suppliers : they are more professional ( cust. service ) , have plenty of options to chose from, cater to varying budgets, and turn out to be much cheaper ( inclusive of shipping )
With uncertainity in receiving packages via indian Govt/private postal services, specially on imports, i was a bit worried when i made the purchases, but so far, i have received all of the purchases that i ordered..

i now go with madvapes.com .. They fit my budget, and more importantly, now offer Fedex(&USPS ) int'l pirority mails .. mostly hassle free delivery

So my suggestion woudl be to , try out vapors.in ( with Cash on delivery option ) first, and if ecigs work for you, pick a US supplier for your regular vaping needs. I use the indian supplier only for urgent deliveries

Let me know how it goes..

Good job getting your stuff. :)

The LEO is actually a good kit. The downside is that the connections are non-standard. Only Boge LEO parts work with a LEO. But it should be good enough to keep you going until you decide you want a mod. It's about the size of a large marker, which may discourage some new vapers from going with it. But if you can get past the fact that it doesn't look like a cigarette, it works really well.

MadVapes has got a great selection of just about everything you need. Some of the accessories are low-quality though. The last time I looked, their Ego was actually a clone. And if you get into mods, they sell some shoddy batteries and accessories. You generally want to avoid Ultrafire batteries. But they do have some awesome stuff on their site.

    Good luck.

I go with madvapes primarily due fedex shipping option. Most of the other websites ship via USPS , and once it is in the hands of the indian Govt postal service, it becomes a hassle... I literally had to run around the indian foreign post office for a few weeks, to get hold of the pkg

had noticed that the atomizers , from madvapes, tend to die quickly ( 1-2 weeks ) .. Not sure if this is standard stuff.. Can you recommend a few other places , where i can pick up some quality atomizers ?

Also, li-ion (cylindrical ) batteries are hard to come by in india.. Just wondering if someone is offering a mod using a regular cell phone battery

Well, I get my batteries from rtdvapor.com. Another good source is lighthound.com. As for atomizers, the really good ones are Cisco or the ones from Ikenvape.com.

Cartomizers and atomizers like to be kept wet. You might have good luck keeping a cartomizer going with a Liquinator from VaporEscence.com or a J-Tank from ElectronicStix.com.

HappyVaper.com is a Canadian vendor and a little pricey, but they do have several different payment options and delivery methods. They might be able to offer Purolator shipping.

I don't have any issue with the regular delivery method or the payment methods offered. You might want to contact the vendors and find out if they can offer FedEx shipping vs. normal delivery.
