Hello, I'm new to the forum, and I wanted to introduce myself. I'm a 30 year old female from Oregon. I started vaping in October 2014. I was never a smoker, but I tried vaping, and loved the flavours. I started out with a kanger evod 2, and a crappy fixed voltage battery, then I went to a protank 3 on a crappy battery. Now I have a nautilus mini, and an Innokin itaste CLK 1280. I love this combination so much more than the evod 2, or the protank 3. I'm not sure what else to say.. lol.

Hi and welcome to the board. That's good gear you have; I'm glad it's working for you. It's always nice to get newbies who just want to say hello. We get a lot we never hear from until something breaks, then they stumble across the board looking for answers. Not a problem, of course. We're glad to help when we can. But it is nice, for a change ;-)

Hehe nothing broken here! Although, sometimes I do have questions about things like when to charge my battery, whether to let it go completely red before charging, or something like that. I just want to talk to other vapers. I enjoy vaping a lot, and I want to talk to people that share my interest. I have friends that don't vape, and it's hard talking to them when they don't know what I'm talking about. Haha. Anyway, thank you very much for the welcome post! I'm happy to be here. I hope to make some vaping pals on here, and talk about good liquid to try, etc. I've thought about getting into RDAs in the future, but I'm not sure yet. I like my nautilus mini, and my itaste battery. I've been told that nautilus coils give a lot more flavour than most atomizers, and it almost comparable in flavour to an RDA.. I am mostly just into vaping, because it tastes good, and it keeps me from eating a lot of sugar that I know is bad for me. Haha. I'm not really into "cloud chasing", but I can do a couple tricks that my nephew thinks is cool. I can do a dragon which is easy, tornadoes, and a french inhale. I can't really blow rings very well, and I'm not too interested in spending hours learning something that isn't really going to do much for me. I'd rather spend my time learning about other things, and watching anime.. haha. Anyway, thanks again for the welcome!

Welcome!

Are you vaping juice with nic? Just curious since you weren't a prior smoker.

Erm.. lol. Yeah.. My sister let me try hers while I was visiting for like 2 months, and so when I got my own, I went down in nic level, but I still have some in my liquid I buy. It's a lot lower than what she vapes. She vapes 24mg, and I vape 12mg. I had to go down to 18mg for a while, then a couple months ago I went down to 12mg, and I plan going down to 6mg.

Hello @Maelui. Welcome to ECF! Glad your here with us on the forum and vaping

Sounds like your running a nice setup, hows it vaping for you?

It's vaping great! My first coil burned after 7 days, but the coil I have now has been in my tank for 10 days, and still going strong! I think the first one might have been a dud. I've noticed I have to be very careful not to let my coils get low on liquid, or let them tilt if the liquid is low, and doesn't cover the holes. That's true with any coil though. So, I've learned to just fill it up when it's at 0.5mL, and to keep it upright when it's getting low. So far it has way better flavour than the protank 3 I had. So, I'm a lot happier!

Hello and welcome to the forum @Maelui. Glad to have you here!:)

Looks like you are what we affectionately call a "tootle puffer".
Come join the fun => Are YOU a Tootle Puffer?? | E-Cigarette Forum

What flavors are you enjoying?

A tootle puffer, aye? That's interesting. Haha. I will definitely join that board. Thanks!

My most favourite flavour is lemon meringue pie by ECBlend, then strawberry shortcake by ECBlend, then fluffernutter (marshmallow and peanut butter) by ECBlend, or nuclear nut butter (peanut butter kap'n crunch with custard) by yeti vape they taste almost exactly the same the fluffernutter and nuclear nut butter. I also love Abbott Road (strawberry custard) by yeti vape, and crunchy black (berry kap'n crunch with custard) by yeti vape. I also love Magic Rypple from ECBlend. It's an apple, honey, and very light tobacco that I can't even taste. It mostly tastes like apple, and honey. I also love Dragon's Delight by ECBlend which is pear, and peach with cream. It's sooo good! Those are some of my favourites. I'd definitely like to try more someday. :)

Welcome from a neighbor just North of you. Vancouver, WA (but I work in Portland, OR) yeah, I'm one of those people
I found lowering my nicotine produced better flavor.
I started at 24mg and worked my way down to 3 mg.

Ooo awesome! I'm just outside Portland. Literally like 20 minutes away in a suburb. Hehe. Yeah, I think the flavour gets better too. My favourite lemon meringue pie liquid seemed to get better as I lowered the nic level. I plan to go down to 6mg soon. In a couple months when I run out of my 12mg liquid. :)

I remember my old protank's, all the time they would flood and gurgle  so in the end I gave them up and got into rda's and my flooding ended :pervy: :). I hear loads of people say the Nautilus is a really good tank.

I grew up in Damascus and worked at Clackamas Town Center when I was a teen but my stomping grounds were Gresham.
Occasionally I shop the B&M's in the Portland area.... No sa!es tax :thumb:

I had issues with leaking, and the coil burning even if it was full, because the fixed voltage batteries would be too powerful for the kanger coils. I would get SOOOOO frustrated with it. I learned to prevent gurgling, you have to twist a Kleenex into a long "spear", and shove it up the drip tip, and out the other end when you were refilling. It cleaned all the liquid out of the airway. I also learned to remove the drip tip, and pat then end that is inside the top on some Kleenex to soak up some of the condensation, and also stick some Kleenex into the top with the drip tip removed to get some condensation removed there too. I don't have leaking issues anymore with my nautilus, and it doesn't gurgle, or flood either. :)

I grew up on the west side of Portland, in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area. Now I live out in the boonies on the west side still, but further out. My sister used to live in Gresham. The bad part though, and one time some people came into her house with a gun, and were on some kind of drug like ...., and threatened to kill her, and her children if she didn't let them stay in her house. They were running from the police. I didn't like going to that area of Gresham, but a friend I used to have lived there, but in a nicer area, so it was like night and day. Haha.

I got frustrated with them also, I did start rebuilding the coil heads for a little while and that seemed to stop a lot of the flooding but it got very fiddly compared to an rba deck. Still I have to thank them I guess for pushing me to a better vape place :)
