Just a week-ish ago I made the decision to finally get a ego-style ecig. I had initially been dead set on a simple ego style battery, no VV or VW or anything. When I came here for advice, it seemed like EVERYONE was pushing me towards a VV ego battery, saying that it performs better, and it gives me room to experiment and try other stuff. Looking back, it was funny how stubborn I was, saying that I just want a ecig, not some fancy ... gadget. But everyone was just saying VV is really something I should look into, and I'm thankful I relented.
Having played around with my ego twist and spinner, i LOVE the whole VV business. I get flavors and vapors I didn't even think of. And now, as everyone rightfully pointed out, i am itching to try something else.
(lesson learnt:
1) advice on ECF are best followed. I'm so glad i did
2) for newbies, don't kid yourself. Your current or next kit isn't gonna be the last one. You can keep telling yourself that's all you need... but somehow those fingers always always end up on the "Add To Cart" button. Always.)
In any case, this time, I wanna get a mod that's VV/VW! I've been doing my usual stalking, and I've pretty much set my mind on a MVP v2 (it's only 45 bucks on fasttech!). But having learnt my lesson, I decided to pop by here and get some opinions before I take the plunge:
1) hows the MVP v2 for a beginner vv/vw mod? I'm thinking this is gonna be my next "big step", and after that I'm gonna just flat out be disciplined and save up for something in the provari range. I've been deciding between the MVP v2, the SVD, VTR and even the Tesla, but the MVP stands out for the functionalities and unbeatable price.
2) How are box mods? Im really used to holding a long rod in my hands, so I'm actually quite concerned if a squarish box thing would just feel weird in my hand.
3) I'm also very worried about the structural integrity of a tank on it. I know this doesn't make much sense, but I feel absolutely safe leaving my evod+spinner in my pocket. But the look of a tank on a square mod looks. i don't know. VERY breakable. is that a legitimate concern or am i just being paranoid
4) 45 bucks from fasttech, free shipping... is this legitimate? Most online places i'm seeing sell em for approx 60 (discountvapor, myvaporstore for e.g.)
Again, HUGE thanks to ECF, and I hope I get a ton of useful feedback like before!
