Most of my standard lineup mixes are floral teas. I like a bit of a bite in most of my mixes.

I do changeup with a strawberry absinthe and a mixed fruit yogurt. However, those two turn dark in my Orchids quite quickly, and I find myself discarding the last ml and washing the wick frequently. I generally mix at about 5% total. Absinthe and yogurt are both FW. If I increase those complements will I have less problem with the darkening, or are they sweetened as much as the fruit flavorings?

My experience is:
If I increase the flavor percentage, the wick will darken quicker (for any flavor regardless of the sugar content of the flavor).
If I increase the sweetener percentage (if a sweetener is used) in the mix, the wick will darken quicker (for any flavor regardless of the sugar content of the flavor).
If I increase the temperature setting of the vape, the wick will darken quicker (for any flavor regardless of the sugar content of the flavor).
I find that anything I add to mix, the wick will darken quicker (for any flavor regardless of the sugar content of the flavor).

I have a box of CelluCotton rayon Coil--500 feet., with my rda, 2 minute wick change every 2 day or so I'm good to go.

I had that happen in my protank days. In the protanks it was that I had too big diameter coil or too long and it was too close to the side and heating up the metal and with low ohm chain vaping... it gets hot. Hot enough to burn sweet juice.
My wife vapes cotton candy I make and its .75% in a desert ship base and its mighty sweet to me. When I first started experimenting making her juice I made a 5% cotton candy standalone and it went to syrup.
