Need some advice!

Im looking for a few things.. As anyone would..
1. Great Vapor
2. Great Flavor
3. Minimal throat hit.

I messed up and ordered the wrong juice so im sitting with a bunch of 24 and 18mg 70/30 pg/vg juice that produces very lil vapor and huge throat hit, and not the best flavour! Overall, need to figure something out.

My setup is
Mvp 2 vv/vw
Elego bcc tank 2.2omhs
Some other tank ?? Thats at 2.2 omhs
And a 1.8 iclear16

My thoughts on how to make this better.
1. Reorder juice with 0nic and 100pct vg and then mix the two batches
2. New tank
3. Move to a rebuildable atty, kayfun or 91%

Any thoughts?

What level of nic are you looking for?

An RBA like the kayfun will always outperform clearomizers if your build is solid. I can say from experience the flavor from the kayfun with a microcoil with cotton is top notch and produces great amounts of vapor. If you're looking for big cloud a better option would be an RDA but if you want a RBA with a tank the kayfun is a great choice.

Get some USP grade VG (glycerin) from the Pharmacy and add that to it.
If you mix it 1:1 you end up with close to 12mg at 50/50.

What is an RDA?

Can't say I'd order 0% nic, but if you want minimal TH, then VG is probably your best bet. VG will give you bigger clouds, but my understanding is that PG will carry flavor better. Not that VG won't give you any flavor....... it was once recommended to me to buy some VG at the local pharmacy and mix it with current juices that are too strong. Couldn't hurt, especially if you're not crazy about the juice anyway. And yeah, changing vendors might be in the plan.

I have a Smokteck ARO tank, that gives a really light hit. It works fine on my MVP, but I personally prefer a protank. It's a single coil. I like single coil, bottom coil and around a 2.2 - 2.4 ohm. I just now built a micro coil and used "sugar and cream" yarn for the wick. Looking forward to trying it out. I've only done plain jane coils before.

Good luck no matter what you do, but DON'T GIVE UP! You'll find YOUR vape.

Welcome to the ECF forums, if the nic is high for you I would reorder same juices in 100 % vg and dilute them. This will lower the you to around 50/50 ish and nic in half. The pg causes the th, but higher nic will too.

Depends on your budget and handy ness the tobeco kayfun is great for 50 bucks. I run mine with micro coil and cotton with great flavor. With rebuild I found I needed lower nic because they are more efficient.

Those elego heads you can rebuild with micro coils bad cotton too. I have a vape only version and getting the chimney off is hardest part, but after that, they work a lot better.

Last the pro tank 2 work great and coils are slightly easier to rebuild.

Hope you get what your looking for and this is what works for me.

A good RBA with good coils and wicks will definitely improve vapor production and flavor. And reducing the nic level and increasing the VG % will lower the throat hit, kinda sorta maybe. As you search for those clouds, the increased vapor production can sometimes increase throat hit even on lower nic, etc. That's part of the fun with vaping. The search for the Holy Grail, the perfect vape ! Good luck in your quest!

Welcome to the forum

1. yes, 0 nic and 100 vg will help dial down throat hit
2. wait for a kanger Aerotank (protank3 with airflow control) to be released shortly and try that (approx. $30 MSRP)
3. my kayfun lite+ has a HUGE throat hit so I am not sure this is the route you want to take

my suggestions
use the iClear16 with voltage or wattage dialed down some to try to control throat hit but keep some of the vapor production up (lots of vapor will mean more throat hit in most cases - more airflow also means more vapor which in turn means more throat hit)

when protank 1 first came out everyone complained about the airy draw and some people were plugging one of the holes in the 510 threads (with a broken toothpick point) to restrict the airflow some but ended up not liking the reduced throat hit. You might try this with your existing tank to see if it helps as this is not a permanent modification.

More VG in the mix will reduce the TH, and the flavors will change and get better as your taste buds recover from smoking (can take a while, about a couple months for me)

One thing to practice is how you draw, it's not a cig. Try slow, even gentle, long draws. It gives time for the juice to vaporize and more to wick in to replace it. Also since you have a MVP, lower the volts to the minimum, and adjust it up slowly tasting as you go to find your sweet spot.

Be advised the Kayfun, 91%, RDA, RBA, micro coils, etc are ADVANCED vaping devices and methods, not something I would recommend for a newbie to fool with while having a nic fit....:)

Forgot i had some in the house! Just tried it and wow! Huge difference!

Even off my egoc atty just dripping to try it reduced the TH and increased vapor 10 fold. With it being unflavoured tho. It washed out the Flavor bad. Im probably going to end up reordering juice with 0nic and 100pct, same flavors, and mix them down.

From reading other threads also, ive seen that a RBA or better clearo can have a huge impact on flavor..
Much weight to this?

Night and day difference. If you're the type that doesn't want to dabble into rebuildables then I wouldn't suggest it. But if you are the kayfun is a GREAT atty. It's really not that hard to build coils if you're interested. Bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it you will never regret it.

If not, any of the kanger protank's would be a solid choice. I used an MVP with a protank 2 for the longest time and loved it.

But for what it's worth I get 5x the flavor out of the kayfun than I did with the protank. It's really a whole different ballpark
