I am having the hardest time here. I love vaping but I am having a terrible time with carts and cartos. The carts seem to dry up so quickly and the cartos always taste burned even right after they are filled. What am I doing wrong?

What kind of ecig do you have, and is it manual or automatic?
Dripping is the way to go, but if you need to use the cartomizers, try holding them horizontally while vaping, and spin your ecig horizontally when not vaping to help it wick. If you are using the condom method, make sure you get enough juice in there, and have heard to let them sit overnight before vaping.

Invariably, the majority of the answers will be to drip.

I read to stick a very small screwdriver down to the bottom seal. Take care not to damage the coil, but if you can locate the slots where the wick comes in, try lifting that bottom seal up slightly to let some more room for the wick to wick juice. I heard this may be happening to others. there is a thread from Got vapes that you will learn a lot from. Check the new posts and you will see it regularly, as people are now just receiveing theirs. I hope everyone learns how to deal with these, since I have 50 on the way.

Are you using a syringe graduated in ml? If so how many ml did you get into that carto? Additionally, there may be a primer (protective coating) on the coil that needs to be cleaned or burned off.

My post was pertaining to a totally different cartomizer, and will likely not be applicable in your case.

She did, Godzilla (I'm talking to Godzilla! Sorry, it's almost 1am here). But the clearomizers are just clear CE2s (should be anyway...still waiting on a friend's order to see for myself)
I have been using the magma for a couple weeks, I just stopped the analogs 3 days ago so I am feeling a bit more frusterated LOL I like the inferno I just wish I could figure out the best way to use it, carts, or cartos and dripping
I don't like the clearomizer either...they don't wick fast enough to my vaping--hence the burnt taste.
If you vape slower in between, it shouldn't taste burnt.

So, are you using this on a Magma, or an Inferno? Either way, though, it shouldn't taste burnt . . . but I've never used their cartos. I have used others that just had a funk to them . . . I just moved on and tried a different supplier. So, sorry, I can't help.

There is so much wrong with my post. Sorry.
The wife has the Inferno and usually uses cartomizers (regular ol poly-filled cartos) or occasionally an atty for dripping.
Right now I'm on a CE2-R4 on my ProVari but just today I've gone from 510 standard cartomizer, 801 standard atomizer/dripping, CE2. I guess I like variety....LOL

Thinking back, I did have a CE2 that was just 'bad' from day one. I recently emptied it and did a good long dry burn to clear it. Seemed to do the trick...incidently, it is the same CE2 I'm using right now. Wow....
