Ce2 R4s can not be used for extremely thick juice....some may say otherwise but depending on your vape they may or may not work for you, they also have a bit of quality control issue as I have had a few duds, I still use them and order them from time to time as they hold a ton of juice...but generally I have gone to boge cartomizers or straight dripping depending on the situation.
I also find ce2's, and his is especially true of thicker juices, to need some time between vapes or they get that burnt taste.

Refillable 510 Cartomizers 2.0ohm

I prefer these because I can direct drip into them without a syringe and they can handle 100% vg pretty good. Of course dripping works to :p

I DIY all my juices. I have the advantage of making up PG biased juice so it's thinner and wicks great through a CE2.

Gotta keep in mind what we're using here. The cartos are developed and made in China. What's the most popular juice in China? DeKang. DeKang is (was) all PG based juice and very thin. They'll 'get it right' eventually....LOL

Are you reusing the same carts over and over? After a week or less the white stuffing can become cranky and stop wicking well, etc. I replace tired white stuffing with with blue foam (to start out you can get cheap precut pieces for 510 at strictlyejuice.com). it holds its shape, wicks as well as new white stuffing, easy to clean (take out the foam, clean with running water and pat dry with paper towel). if make it easier to do a real cart fill i.e. take out the stuffing, fill the cup 1/2 way with juice, put the foam back, push it into the juice, using an unbent paper clip reposition the foam close to even with the top of the cart, then top off with 2-3 drops.

But yeah a cart fill is certainly not going to last a super long time. I do a full fill a few times per day and between i top off and reposition the foam if needed whenever vapor production goes down, or if it tastes dryish, or if atty is running too hot.

Cartomizers typically hold double what a cart holds.
