I am not a new when it comes to using a search engine. For some reason I have problems finding what I'm looking for using a search string. Using "" () and AND operations doesent work like I expect. I get threads that come up where the search isent even on the first page. Relevent ranking doesn't seam to apply at all. I've never had such a hard time finding relevant information on what I'm searching for. If I'm too specific I get nothing. What the heck am I doing wrong?
If I remember correctly I've for example searched
"TFA cotton candy"
Or
(TFA cotton candy)
And I got the giant tfa thread with tfa highlited by it self then cotton candy
Why doesent the page that's burried deep in the thread come up that has tfa cotton candy come up at the top?
I hope that example is as I remember it.

Thank you for your reply.
That does not work like I think we would expect. Try it and you will see tfa get highlighted all by itself as well as cotton then candy seams like it doesn't act any differently than a statment with in "" or () or AND statments. If youe quire has all the elements it comes up.
I get all the hits I don't want. Is the se broken?

You can also search within a thread. Don't know if that would help. There is a way to search a particular website with google. I can't remember. I'll look and post back...

okay, it's easy

your search terms then site:e-cigarette-forum.com

so; TFA cotton candy site:e-cigarette-forum.com

then, maybe you can use all the Boolean junk and stuff.
