Hey, folks.

For some reason, I'm getting inconsistent vapour with the e-twist + T2 clearmoizer. From the research I've done over the forum, it seems that I'm not alone.

I can never seem to get the voltage past 4.0 without that plastic taste (2.4 resistant heads), and every so often I get mute flavour, and sometimes it's fantastic. I just ordered $100 from Heather's Heavenly Vapes, and I don't want it to go to waste on this feeble setup.

Money is no object. I'm thinking of buying a provari and I good tank. In your opinion, what it the best option for consistency? Z-atty? DTC cartomizer tank? Are cartomizers with a tank more consistent? Will that hole in the tank be large enough to absord my 50/50 juices?

Upgrading from a Twist or T2 will definitely improve your performance. I'm not familiar with the Z-atty and I don't like DCT but tanks will give you the most consistant vape since the carto is always wet. Never a dry hit unless you let it run out of juice or you punch your carto holes too small. You'll have no problems with performance with a 50/50 juice. Some people, myself included use 100% VG in tanks with no problems.
