I've been vaping for about 3 months. I've been through just about every type of system there is. I just spent sixty dollars on two Joye 510 cigs plus an adapter to charge thinking this would end my search for consistent vaping. Onr addy worked fine for a few hours. The other tasted nasty from the start and was hard to pull with not as much vapor being produced and the addy getting hot. I followed the instructions by soaking in alchol and rinse then drying. That took most of the nasty taste away but still poot vapeing production. Now the good addy is doing the same thing. Why are these devices so touchy? I just need them to work! I'm so frustrated I'm about to start smoking analogues again. Can anybody help me end this frustration once and for all? What am I doing wrong?

first of $60 is a little steep. next time check out this place: Starter Kits - e-Vape Kits he has better prices.
as far as tasting nasty from the start. the atties are primed during assembly with some fluid. make sure you blow them out onto a napkin before beginning to drip into them. not all atties recieve proper quality control resulting in a bad threading or drilling in some of them causeing a stiffer draw sometimes. i wouldnt be able to tell you right off the bat without looking at the device and the atty in person or in detailed pictures.
vapor production has to do with a few different things. first off lets look at what voltage your running at. with a regular e-cig size battery its probably running at around 3.3-3.4volts. not much to begin with. usually for me the higher the voltage the better. IMO
next look at the atomizer. what level of resistance is it? if it came with the kit its probably a standard atomizer which is usually 2.2-2.8ohms. that being said, at its best it would be running 3.4v to a 2.2ohm atomizer which is still only about 5.3watts. which is very low by my standard. the usual that most vapers prefer to be at is around 8-12watts. the higher the wattage the hotter the vape. many people using 3-3.7v devices prefer the 1.5ohm atomizers because at its best it would put them at around 9 watts which is satisfying to many.
lastly you must also take into consideration the e-liquid you are using. what is the PG/VG level? PG is alot thinner than VG and is supposed to give off a little more flavor. VG on the other hand has more vapor production and more throat hit. also depending on the amount of nicotine you vape at. I prefer 95-100%VG and its plenty flavorful for me.

All in all its a matter of finding the perfect combination of these things to ensure you get a satisfying vape. its not a hard road but alot of trial and error. with the proper guidance im sure you will find your way easily.

Please PM me if you have any questions or need further assistance to purchase the correct items to make your device work properly for you.

:)

Thank you Jonny. I am at my wits end! Its almost five in the morning and I can't sleep. This is driving me mad... Ohms, watts... I've read these terms before and can't quite make sense of it all. I realize there's some magical combination to all this and I just can't figure it out on my own. I sincerely appreciate your help. I can't figure out how to pm you. I'm using my phone to do this so there's that factor too. My computer screen decided to take a dump yesterday. Anyhow, it would be great to talk with you in a few hours at a decent time. Please pm me and I'll shoot you my number if that's all right with you.

Really frustrated here but I'm willing to listen and learn. I'll have to explain what I've been through already, what products I have on hand and hopefully you can help me make some sense of it.

Now here's something...! Seems my sleepless night has not been all bad. I have several different juice brands, some from questionable origins and one I've always preferred and gotten good performance out of. After switching around addys, tips and what not I figured I'd try using new tips and only my preferred juice. Guess what? Both addys are responding acceptably! There is a bit of an aftertaste in my original good one, but I'm hoping it will go away in a while. I'll stick to the good juice all day and report back what I find.

The Saga continues...

I didn't smoke an analouge today, so that's good for me! It seems the latest juice I got from the place I bought the kit from has a negative reaction to the attys (spelled right this time). Also, I was vaping these 510s too slowly and the attys were burning up I think. A harder draw with my "good juice" has carried me through the day. Without getting into internet details, it's been a hell of a 24 hours. Anyhow, I'm glad I bought two of these. I carry both and alternate so I don't get any one attty too hot. They're working okay. Funny how much juice effects atomizers... I still have questions about CE2's and other type attys I have as to whether or not I can use those with the 510's. I'll post photos and address that in another post. Sorry for the drama people but I have been put to the test these last few days and I NEED a good vape! I lost my eGO Mega last Saturday night and have been needing a good vape. The reason I paid so much was it was semi-local. I couldn't wait 2 or three days for delivery... anyhow that's all folks. For now anyways. Vape on!

P.S. I got a new screen for the 'puter! Woohoo!

Why dont you try some cartomizers...Atties are the thing for the past for me.. Refillable 510 Cartomizers 2.0ohm Add 25 drops, make sure you tip the cartomizer like a beer when filling( fill it slowly). Then wait 20 minutes so it wicks..I get a good week out of these or more if you keep them wet.. good luck.

Jimi D. good advice. I still want to buy you a beer at the pub.
