so how long do these last?

They last forever or until you lose them which I've lost a few. They come in delrin plastic (very dense plastic), or aluminum, or sometimes stainless steel or chrome. They can be cleaned and are really indestructicle. You just fit the thing into the end of your cartomizer or atomizer and it sits there. It just make it 1. feel more comfortable to take a drag and 2. allows a bigger hole for more vapor to come through.

Get a few and see how you like them. They are relatively inexpensive and I'm betting you'll like them. Most people do.

To clean you can submerge them in rubbing alcohol once a week or so to disinfect. Some people wipe them down nightly.

Stiles I note you are using an eGo T. Are you using the tank system with the atty? If so you don't need a drip tip as the tank cartridges have a whistletip mouth piece.

Drip tips fit on atomizers or cartomizers but they will be useless to you if you are use the eGo tank system cartridges.

If you are using a 510 atomizer or cartomizer though, the drip tips will work and are nice. Just make sure you are buying a 510 drip tip.

yes I am using the tank system with an addy. The tank has a hole in it and then there is a spike in the atty that fits into the hole of the tank. I ordered that cardo that someone posted in this thread. Do i still need to use the addy with that cardo?

This is what i ordered.

Hey Stiles,

On that particular carto, no you wouldn't need a drip tip. That comes with its own. I haven't tried those out yet. It looks like you got version 1 there though which has the shorter wicks. People have reported that those aren't so good in the sense you have to keep tipping them over to get them to wick properly. The 2nd version has longer wicks and allegedly alleviates that problem.
