I love the concept. Fill up only once a day, but the draw on the thing is terrible compared to the old regular 510 atty. Am I doing something wrong, or is the draw just harder on the tank system?

Hey EK. I'm pretty new here but have been fighting a tornado tank for 3 days so I know what you're going through.
First and foremost.... is the atty very clean?
Make sure you have it super clean. I finally did a dry burn while blowing through.
The amount of garbage that burned out was mystifying to say the least.
Next.... is there a little round piece in the end of the tanks end cap? If so, go ahead and get that thing outta the way.
I used a manual optical drive release key but a straightened out paperclip will do the trick just fine.
Hate to bring bad news but if you are a VG man you are outta luck for the most part.
Go with a high PG mixture to keep this thing flowing. I still like my cartos better but this is now tolerable.

Make sure that you have the atty cleaned next make sure the hole in the end cap is clear and not blocking If this don,t work you might have to adjust the wick. There is a tutorial on how to do this at U-Tube

Tank systems are like a pipe...slow drags...
If it's really hard to even get a puff out of it, it's because something is blocking the air flow.
I had (still have but don't like it) and i noticed that the atty has 2 holes (?) to give air flow...when i pressed the button, sometimes i would cover one of the holes and was pretty hard to get a good drag.
To check the air flow, remove the atty from the batt and suck on the tank to see if you have a good/bad airflow.
If it's good, it's because when you screw it on the batt you are losing airflow
If it's bad, something is blocking you airflow inside the atty.

I've noticed mine have been a little harder to drag. I do take slow draws, and lately they've been multiples (press button, draw 2 or 3 times) to get noticeable volume in my lungs. Not too worried about vapor - just want a hit and some taste. I just ran my attys through the boil this morning, and may contemplate a dry burn. When I need a better hit, I switch to the Boge LR cartos, which hit well, but drain the battery a little faster. I have a 1300mah battery on order to address that. I also ordered some of the 3140 eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers from MadVapes today. They're LR and hold about 5ml of juice in the cartridge.
I guess it's a quest to find the right mixture and delivery... I'm still looking.
So far, I think my mixtures are pure PG. I bought them from a local brick and mortar, and there isn't a PG/VG % listed, and I didn't think to ask when I picked them up.

For me, if peaople only sold tanks, they wouldn't sell nothing.
Never found a tank that worked like i think they would.
Always cold vapour, small amount of TH and flavour (same in the G4 @ 3.7V)
So far, tanks only made me appreciate how much i like to drip.
