Chiming in with another REO recommendation..

Similarly, I've played with cartos, eGO-T, CE2s (I actually kinda like them) and so on, but the simple vaping experience was escaping me. I figured it was just part of the "price" to be paid. After all, I've quit smoking with far less trouble than ever before, so I'm willing to put up with a lot. Then, I picked up on a REO Mini from the classies, and all that other gear has been more or less untouched ever since (about 2 weeks now).

Even with the smaller battery (14500), the Mini will last from the time I leave for work in the morning until I get home in the evening. No topping-off, no dead battery woes - nothing but vaping happiness. I took some money I got for xmas and pulled the trigger on a REO Grand this morning. It's that good.

Good luck! :vapor:

Wow, that's pretty amazing, Hawk. It's getting easier to think about turning loose of the ~$150 for a Reo Grand all the time. :D
Thanks

I have used these with ZERO TROUBLES: Dual coil Mega XL from Madvapes.
They hold enough liquid to last quite a while. They are really big so there is enough space between the polyfill and the mouthpiece to ensure no liquid gets in your mouth. They hit very well especially on 5v. I believe they have them in a bit higher resistance now too, like 2.0 ohm.

They are a bit fragile. When you refill, don't try to force the tip back on with the carto screwed in to the mod. Remove it, hold it firmly in the middle and then apply pressure to insert the tip. Other than that you should be golden. Besides, the hold enough juice so that you don;t have to refill very frequently.

Otherwise, a bottom feeder.

All the best!!

As at least one other person has mentioned, it really sounds like your juice is causing your atties/cartos to clog up. There is no concrete rule as to what juices will clog your device. If you stay away from coffee, dark juices and anything with oils or natural extracts you will be more likely to get a good juice.

I think you're right, Offset. I've been experimenting with a lot of juices. Some with natural extracts, some with high VG, etc. One I absolutely loved was Perique flavored, but it was a natural extract too. Pity. I'm hoping the Perique flavor I ordered from FA or TPA (whichever one it was) will be nearly as good and kinder to my cartos. In my latest experiment I'm getting good life (for me) -- 3.5 days -- out of my Boge 2.0s with Blue Mist juices at 80/20. I've tried extracting my own tobacco and coffee flavors and yes, though flavorful they are some real carto cloggers.

I've ordered a bunch of flavors, along with some ethyl malto (sp?). Hopefully I can develop some decent, non-goopy juice with all that. Some flavors state the ingredients; others don't. I shied away from any of them that looked like they had gunky ingredients. One even had corn syrup in it! :yikes:

Thanks, Offset, and thanks all. I'm studying all your suggestions, and I really appreciate your help..

Have you tried a variable volt mod? It changed my vaping experience. If your hit is too dry turn the voltage down. Too wet turn it up. Like you I found the problem in the inconsistency with the atty and juices and different performance at different juice levels. Being able to change the voltage has given me control of these changes. I have been using a lavatube which is priced reasonably and like it better than my expensive provari.

The reo deals with the same problem in a different way by allowing you to control the juice. Vvreo would be the best but not made yet.

Good luck I was in the same frustrated and expensive place as you and the variable volt changed my vaping enjoyment completely.

I'm on my sixth day on the same carto now. I've been using some pretty clear juice; that seems to be a real good start. I mixed up some juice the other day that is much clearer than any I've bought anywhere (even with some TA and MTS Vape Wizard added), and it tastes great! :D

Still exploring y'all's other suggestions. This is getting MUCH better. :vapor:

Get one, you'll be happy you did.

Reosmods.com

Amazing juice feed system, all mechanical, just dont vape any banana flavor in it or you'll never get it out! Other than that, its the single best mod ive ever encountered. Clean it once a week and thats all the maintenance you need.

Oh, cleaning takes about 3 minutes.

Im VERY new to the REO and bought used, so I had the lingering banana flavor, im working on getting that out, but like I said, other than that, this thing is simply perfect.

Dont go back to analogs brother.

Sure, no problem. I'm using Boge LR (2 ohm) cartos that I bought here. That's the best price I've seen and the shipping is FAST.

Yeah, they work with an eGo battery. They use more power than a standard resistance one, so battery charge life will be shorter.
I don't use my eGo batteries much these days, but they work fine. Obviously the bigger ones will give you more vaping time between charges.

Thanks, QUAD. I've just moved up to my first V/V mod. More to follow undoubtedly. :D

Thanks, man. That's a good looking box. I wonder if replacing the juice bottle will solve your problem? Good luck.
