    Somewhere between here and there
In my opinion, the 901 atomizer is not a huge vapor producer especially on a stock battery. I have used 901's on my screwdrivers for some time and though the flavor is good, the vapor production to me is lacking even with top quality liquids. I would definitely buy an adapter and switch to a 510 atomizer if you are not happy with the vapor production currently. Another option would be to use an RN4075 which looks the same as the 901 but burns hotter and in turn produces more vapor.

A little late to the game here I know, but, one of my first e-cigs was a 901 auto. IMHO, it was a real PITA.
To get any vape, I had to kind of 'play' the vent hole on the Atty like flute. Flutter my finger on it while I sucked it. Close the vent hole completely and you would suck your eyeballs into your head. But if you just flutter your finger around the air vent on the Atty, it would produce a nice hit. HTH

PS - Love 901 Attys on mods, just not so good on stock auto battery's.

I almost forgot. Here is a group that you may want to join!

Oh, duh, I should have suggested that too!

Like I said, I don't know much about the 901, but they do have their fans...I sure hope you can get it working to your liking. If you want to switch over to the 510, I do have an atty I can send you....you'll need an adapter to use it with your 901 batteries. I'm pretty sure your 901 carts will fit on the 510 atty, someone correct me if I'm wrong. Send me a message if you want the atty. :) Best wishes!

I do find that I have to play with the air vent a little until it warms up. I'm not real up on all the lingo so pardon me for speaking newbie. I played with the little wire in the atty and lo and behold I was almost knocked out by vapor. Woo-hoo! I did order a couple of new ones to keep on hand. I'd like to try and modify it a little like some of the suggestions but ya'll are speaking greek to me. One gets to a certain age and our eyes and ears don't register technical jargon. lol
