I am still very new to vaping, only about one month into it, I am now getting frustrated. I am starting to lose the flavor of my juices and it's getting annoying. My favorite is Naked Frost, it came on real strong and now I can't taste it. Made a switch to the very berry juice and alternate them both and have trouble tasting both. I'm using a kangertech nano, .5 coil at 30 watts. Am I doing something wrong?

1. If you were a long term or heavy smoker, your sense of taste and smell will go thru changes. Sometimes you will taste nothing, sometimes things will taste great, and sometimes things will taste awful.

2. Vapor's Tongue. Brush teeth. Sniff fresh coffee grounds. Stay hydrated. Switch to a menthol.

3. Change coil.

I've changed the coils a few times. Guess it's the dreaded bakers tounge

Bakers tongue must when you are addicted to Cinnamon rolls or Doughnut flavor.

That would never happen to me. Nope... can't say I've ever vaped either of those, much...ever... and certainly not in the last few hours.

If we eat too much of the same food our system may react negatively so we don't eat too much of one food to the exclusion of others. I vape one flavor and only one and never tire of it because the percent is very low, like 1% instead of the more typical 10%. It still tastes fine. Try diluting your mixes 50-75% with diy that has the same percents of PG, VG, and nic.

Thanks for all of the responses. I'm thinking it was a case of capers tounge. I tried everything from new coils to different liquids, even tried a tart juice like ya suggested. I noticed this afternoon after vaping on my trusty Naked Frost that some flavor came back. I was apple to taste the sour apple I bought last night, but didn't care for it too much as it kind of had a burnt aftertaste. Just happy to be able to get some flavor out of my vape again

Burnt taste probably coming from coil. Changing it for a new one will help. Once wick is burnt it will not taste right.
He said burnt after taste which probably dosen't mean a burnt coil.
I've burnt coils myself and you taste it immediately worst thing you could taste ever, so i doubt he'd vape it if his coil was burnt :p

Another remedy for vape tongue is San Pelligrino Lemon water. Stuffs basically like licking a lemon.

I've had the Lemon Soda... it's insane. I am Mr Citrus, but will be sticking to the orange from now on.
I won't buy their water though, not with that advertising campaign.

If he still has vaper's tongue a bit, he might not catch it until the aftertaste.... Though, once my tastebuds came back, I TASTED my first burnt coil, LOL, there was nothing quite like it, hard to overlook even with vaper's tongue though when I was dual using, I'd have to put myself on a "switch coil" schedule because I was always allowing them to get toasty without recognizing it... So, it is POSSIBLE.

I'd see how you do for like a half day before changing the coil, citrusy flavors do have an unpleasant, bitter aftertaste for me, which is why I do not vape them.
