Good Morning!

I have been vaping exclusively since May of this year and am glad to to be off the cigs. I started out with 2 x VGO "VV" devices that were crap for me. I quickly bought 2 x 1000mah Twists and for the most part up until now they have been working for me with Smok DCC @ 1.5 OHM @ 4.0v.

This weekend however they just don't seem to do the trick. I dont feel the TH, get the flavor that I did when I first got them. I thought about maybe switching the cartos to SR but am not sure if it would help. They work great for work, but I think it may be time for me to step into something that fits my vaping likes a little better like a MOD.

There is so much out there in regards to MODS it is confusing. The Provari, The VTUBE(LT), Hybrids, Box Mods etc...it makes me dizzy :) so here is what I like in a vape, maybe I can get some ideas:

-Warmth - I like my vape pretty warm
-Flavor
-TH(I know that juice has a lot to do with this, but I want something that hit a little harder)
-Vapor - Yes please - Lots
-Durability/Semi Durable

I use a 70/30 PG/VG mix generally so flavor and TH should be there no problem. I'm just thinking I need something a little "beefier" to get the best out of my juice/improve my experience.

I know its a personal preference thing, but if any one has some ideas for me it is appreciated :D

Thanks!

I'm hesitant to answer this question because I'm starting to view myself as an elitist. Since no one else has jumped in, I'm gonna go ahead and say it.

Get a Provari.

I know...here's another Provari groupie or whatever...but I experienced pretty much the same thing as you. Something works for awhile, then it doesn't. Then you fiddle with it a while before throwing your hands up and trying something else. I've done that enough times in 3.5 years that I could've owned several Provaris by now.

So I got one. And to be perfectly honest, the experience turns out to be anti-climactic. Don't get me wrong, the Provari lives up to it's reputation. But there's nothing you need do with the Provari but select your voltage and vape. I keep expecting something to screw up but it doesn't.

It's durable, it's reliable...the damn thing delivers.

So there...I've said it. Take it for what it's worth.

Well, as an owner of a Provari I'm not gonna complain that it's good, because it is, however, if you're looking to better your vaping experience, I would start looking into rebuildable tank systems, if you're referring to flavor, throat hit and such, then you need to look at the delivery system you're using. I started out with dual coil cartomizers and while they're pretty good they tend to mute the flavor for me. Which I later got a Vivi Nova and was quite satisfied with it, with that being said, all these products are mostly made in China and not to the best quality. So what did I do? I moved into rebuildables, got myself an Odysseus from Golden Greek and have never looked back since, you can tune it to your vaping style, power and whatever else that might come into play, it will cater to your every need once you get the hang of rebuilding it, with that said i went ahead and purchased the GGTS SS as well, a mechanical mod from Golden Greek and it will go with my Odysseus. I started only a month after you did and really quickly by the 2nd month or so I was done with China factor made products and got myself an Odysseus, this thing works like a monster, delivering loads of flavor and throat hit depending on how you have it set up, I have mine set up at 1.2ohms running at 3.7V, which is pretty much my sweet spot, around 11.5 watts. I love the flavor delivered by silica wicks and hence therefore have moved towards that, I still have my Vivi Nova and I think a spare cartomizer sitting around but I don't even look at that anymore, I can rebuild the atty's wick and wires at roughly 50 cents with the highest grade materials you can find, there're many other rebuildable tank systems out there and I cannot compare them as I've only worked with the Odysseus but this thing does more for me than I could ever ask for, another popular rebuildable tank system would be the Zens and you'd have to get feedback on that yourself, I've never worked with one so I couldn't tell you. With that said, I do hope you get your problem solved, Cheers and Happy Vaping!

I jumped up from the little Volt 78mms and the X2 (basically an 808 threaded Kgo) to a Zenesis mini, and I'm loving it. You can basically build it any way you want it to give you the experience you're looking for. I prefer the 32g 5 wrap coil on 325 mesh, but I'm avoiding throat hit. I've seen some running some extreme set ups on them and ripping their throats up, if that's what you want. Something else to consider might be a Z - Atty Pro and Provari combo. None of these things are cheap, but having something rebuildable cuts down on the consumables considerably, and being able to adjust to your own personal taste is worth it, YMMV.
