As much as I like my ecigs after using them for over 4 years, for the types of stuff I've tried there seems to be something annoying about each one. So here is my experience with some clearomizers I've tried so far after using atomizers for years. Nothing has really beat a 510 Atomizer on my Prodigy V3 yet when it comes to vapor production and tatse but I like not having to drip so I'd like clearomizers if it wasn't for some of the problems I've been facing. Hopefully you guys can suggest something else to try.

Stardust/iClear: a lot of times I get a burnt taste because it's not wicking properly, silicone gets screwed up inside, and get juice in my mouth. Also some of them just feel blocked and I can't get a good hit.

EVOD: Way too airy of a draw, even with 1 of the holes taped.

Some other stuff I don't know the name of: A combo of the above.

I am using eGo batteries. Some 3.7v and some variable eGo's. Thanks

I believe vaping is like chasing...I don't know...a ghost...your tail...the dragon...the perfect vape never lasts. I have similar issues with all my stuff, given time, too. For me tho I actually added a hole (made 1 bigger) in my evods. Maybe its my thicker juice...I like 60-70%vg if I can get it. (Most local shops are 50/50 where I live. Have you tried the new bdc (bottom dual coils)?

maybe i'm wrong. however.

i am of firm belief that i would be personally dissatisfied with the performance of every topper/head I own were i forced to use them with batteries that couldn't hold up to the amp draw and stay consistent.

you might consider rebuilding your coils to contact coils and investing in a VV or VW mod that utilizes removable li-ion cells that hold up better under higher loads.

I found out real quick that ego's and 14500's don't have the knards to produce a good vape for very long. Ya you get a nice vape for the first few then the battery seems to start to peter out. I sent my wife to work one day with a 14500 mod I had just bought for her with a 2.0 ohm ekowool microcoil just to get a phone call right after her first break to come and get this piece of guano and bring me a real mod cause she's not getting the vape she expected. That was the first and last time I sent her out without testing her gear myself first.

Kayfuns and/or any of their clones are your next logical step.....IMHO, but they can be finicky as well until you figure them out. They beat the pants off of all those others you mentioned. VV/VW or a decent mechanical would also be nice.

You wuold just have to learn all about coil building......which isnt hard to do.

For me...cartotanks were the way to go. I don't have interest in rebuilding coils and I got annoyed with the elaborate cleaning rituals inherent to clearos and coils. Clearos provide good flavor when the coils are performing and they're not leaking/flooding but cartotanks provide good flavor as well as vapor and the simplicity and CONSISTENCY I was craving and not getting with clearos. Just prime, fill and vape. Refilling is super easy with a filling tool too. I still occasionally use a Mini Davide and I just got a protank 3 just for fun (haven't taken it out of the box yet, though) but I have several cartotanks now that I use almost exclusively. Just my $.02.
