Another thread on burnt taste

Sorry! Searched to see if I could find one about the Stardust clearomizer for my ego battery but I haven't been able to find something to resolve this issue. I'm a total newb at this and ended up burning a few clearomizers by sucking too hard on them and not letting the juice soak the wick enough. I've since learned my lesson, but am now down to one non-burnt tasting atomizer. I've tried "cleaning" the burnt ones, but I am still tasting the burnt flavour.

Can anyone tell me what I should do to get rid of the taste?

as far as i know, you can't "undo" the burning, the wick is burnt and thats that. its literally charred the silica wick, and that is permanent.
Silica wick neither burns nor chars, I've been burning off the crud for years, getting the silica right back to white again.

No crud here, but you can see what effect a torch has on silica.



A typical butane torch will easily do at least ~1500 degrees F, a bit more than any atty.
