why cant you make the wire, its easy Xai. You twist the 2 wires together and then you make coils with the NR wire around the twisted part. Like the coils you make with the R wire around the wick
I made the wires, yes. I'd been trying to do the twist together thing and it didn't work, would come apart whenever I touched it, so I made an elbow on both of them and hooked them together that way. Could that be the problem?

Is there an easier way to put the Nichrome and the Silver wires together? Could that be the whole problem?

Okays, just rebuilt and refilled it. I managed to get that wire merging method to work. I must have missed the part about winding the NR wire around when I watched it the first time.

Only been using it for a few minutes, but I haven't got a dry/burnt hit yet. I'll let you guys know if that was the issue.

Thanks again for all of your patience and help. I know that I'm not the only one that appreciates all of the time that Imeo spends here helping us out. :)

these wires are not premade wires, just premade coils so it will take much more time for you to make a NR-R wire buddy:)
In case its stressful you can always buy some pre made coils from avid vapor. At least till you get the hang of making it.

watch this wonderful video The Golden Greek Teil 11: Die Penelope - YouTube
I hope this will help you find your mistakes coil construction.

One thing I noticed in this vid I kind of like and want to try is when he wets the wick before screwing on the nut that fits over the rebuildable part. It looks like it makes it easier to seat the wick in the channels when you do this. When you screw it on when the wick is dry it tends to chew up the wick a bit as it works its way down. I'm not sure how much this would affect your vape in the long run but it looks much cleaner than what I've been doing.

The last coil I build about 3.5 days ago is not wicking as well anymore so I'll give this a shot.

I wet the mouthpiece before you install the coil and the wick juice.
Then several times ignited coil to dry completely. It helps to see the error coil assembly. When checking to see how you can turn starts to warm up before anyone else. So at this point turn of the coil does not touch the wick. To seal the coil turns, I stretch it along the wick. While he will not touch the wick. usually after the procedure the coil windings are heated simultaneously.

Update:

I'm on my 3rd or 4th fill of the tank now, and it's vaping like a champ. Upon further reflection, I realized that one of the things that I was doing wrong was that I would wrap it a bit wider than I needed to on accident. Big clumsy fingers and all. That would force me to try to shift it back together, which made the coil a bit longer than it should have been, and there would be places that weren't touching the wick at all, those were the spots that would cause the bad flavor.

And I accidently put the wire connections in the wrong spot on the wick, so they would sometimes touch the liquid control.

I've got that all figured out now, just wanted to let you guys know, I'm sure that I'm not the only person that's had issues with this stuff. :)

Thanks again folks!
