But it will still have a needle on it.... ***shudders***. I'm thinking about trying out "flex bottles" if I can find some that are decent and inexpensive. (It will have to be in another month though).

Don't concern yourself about the needle. Your not injecting anything into YOU, just the tank. LOL! And the tank won't feel a thing. I promise!

Oh, and I'll be 70 soon and you want to see someone who shakes and is clumsy? I look like those kiddies at a rock n roll dance or whatever they call it today. So if I can do the syringe, I'm sure you can too.

I've been speaking fairly highly of the eGo-T, but just a few minutes ago I picked up my eGo and realized the ego-t atty had dumped the contents of the tank down my battery edges, so when I picked it up I got a handful of liquid. Maybe I need to blow the atty out at least once a day or every 12 hours? I'm going to refill it and give it another try. This is a damper though. I have a 2-year-old toddler, and I need to be assured my PV doesn't pose a threat as to leaking juice, etc.

It appears to be rare... but there are a couple of posted incidents where a "T" atty leaks and allows all of the liquid to run out the bottom of the atty.

My first T was one of those. I was able to fix it though. My second and third T, no problem.

I was actually getting ready to look up the ego thread in general discussion because I remembered you posting about it there. I've been using the same atty and tank for 3 days, so I may just be abusing it a bit. I've also left it standing for the entire 3 days.

The connection is up in the cone like the ego mega cartos. There was someone who posted about using it on a mod, but that involved a hacksaw. I also saw it used on a screwdriver using 510-901/901-510 adapters.

to anyone who has used these:

Is there a way to use this with a chuck or other mod? I like the concept but still a little unsure because I haven't used any proprietary batteries since the original manual 510.

(box mods and my chuck since then)

I don't have the eGo tank, mine is another brand, but I have it on my Buzz right now and its doing fine (no hacksaw, screwdriver or hammer). I'm using a 510 to 808 adapter.

Every other night I clean the atty with a hot water rinse and vodka soak for a while and other times I leave the tank on the atty and just pick it up the next morning and go on.

Well, ...

1) I don't like needles at all! (I would have made a terrible drug addict!)

2) I have a tendency to be shaky and clumsy at times.

3) The only times that I've tried filling and using syringes, it took forever to get the juice into the syringe, and forever to get any out of it (except for the time that the needle "blew" off of the syringe and I ended up with juice all over the place!)

I watched a video yesterday that showed the person filling directly from his e-liquid bottle. It looks like if you used a 3ml bottle it would do just fine, once the tank has been pierced by the atomizer-that is.

I have never popped the caps off of mine. I fill them from my larger "Ecopure/TV" style bottles (pointy tip) and my smaller round-tip bottles. But it's harder (and a bit messier) from the round-tip bottles.

Okay I'm lost lol What the heck is a clearmizer and I'm guessing the ego tank is like the juice feed mod but on a ego battery????

Let me see if I can help.

The clearamizer refers to the CE2 and its simply one of those with a clear catridge that you can see into and see how much juice you have in it. Its one of their lastest versions.

The eGo Tank is NOT like a juice feed system. Completely different. Its a mouthpiece with a small, clear tank built inside it. There is a separate atty with a spike in it. You screw the tank down onto the atty and the spike creates a hole in the bottom of the tank.

From there you can either fill the tank through that hole on the bottom with a syringe, or a "Ecopure/TV" style bottles (pointy tip) such as Scottbee described. You can also remove a little tab in the mouthpeice and fill it through there.

Then you have to place the "tank" part firmly down onto the atty, and that's it. Put it on your battery and vape away.

This system is very close to dripping without the mess and fuss of dripping. There is no fiber fill in the tank or anywhere in the system. Very nice, very clean vape.

I've been using one for a week now and am enjoying it a lot.

David is going to be getting these in soon and you might want to give one a try, if your feeling a little adventurous.

AHHHHHH Thanks for the very detailed information, I'm not lost anymore. I am the adventurous type and may have to try this out. Just have to get a Ego lol

Once upon a time a long, long time ago, there was a noobie vaporer who was also a handsome prince named TexasT who had some weird vaping equipment. What he had did work for him and they did help him get away from cigarettes, but he knew there had to be something better out there.

There was a beautiful fairy princess named MistressNomad who the evil Ab Domen had captured and locked in a dark, damp tower of his ugly orange castle in a far away place called Chycawgo.

TexasT, had heard of these evil doings but being somewhat chicken hearted contacted his hero brother LD to rescue the beautiful princess. LD got in touch with the warlock Nixdaddy who had the unique ability to wear his head upside down with the hair on the bottom. Together these three embarked on a journey to Chycawgo to rescue the lovely princess.

Once there they vaped out all the castle guards and LD, with a Buzz set at over 7 amps, set the evil Ab Domen's crotch on fire who then left for the coast singing "Bye, Bye Miss American Pie." In the meantime, Nixdaddy turned Ab Domen into a tiny, little guy with a big belly and he hasn't been seen or heard from since.

After rescuing Princess MistressNomad, she rewarded Nixdaddy by making him Chancellor of the Land of Tucson and all Vape Lounges. The handsome TexasT was rewarded with a ton of KR-808D-1 stuff that he still has and uses a 510-808 adapter with his tank system so he won't have to buy any Ego batteries and chargers. The hero LD was rewarded with an FSUSA receipt signed by the princess which he still keeps next to his heart even today.

The moral of this story is that TexasT is using a tank system but never bought an eGo battery.

LMMFAO at your story but heyyyy I have an 808 battery and a 510 battery sooooo I can just put the tank system on my 808 battery and be set. Or better yet, just get the adapter and get the power from the 510 battery :) I think T may have saved me some money lol

Hey 757girl - the tank system fits on the 510 EGO - I think T has got you confused with his long story - however I loved reading it! He's a hoot!
I just got the EGO-T system last week and I really like it. Very easy and not messy, however, the taste seems to be better in the clearomizers.

Yeppers. It will fit on the 510, but you'll need an adapter for the 808.

I think the part about the evil Ab Domen scared her and left her a bit befuddled. I get befuddled all the time.

I've been messing with my eGo T system on my Riva 510 that I just got today...and my initial report...

I'll never have to buy another carto/cart/atty again.

If this has the longevity of it's substitutes this will be my on the road vape...even on the last drop in the cartridge I got a great TH, good vapor and excellent flavor. I'm sure ymmv and it is all up to personal preference, but the ease and tidyness of these tank systems is a winner at first glance!

Hey samsmom, did you have to do anything to improve the wicking on the clearomizers or do you think it wasn't necessary?

All I do is remove the mouthpiece, then remove the inner "donut" ring (and DON'T put it back in), then I take a small screwdriver and slightly lift up on the inner plug just above the wick on both sides. This takes the pressure off of the wick and allows juice to wick properly without obstruction of the plug. I fill with a syringe thru one of the tiny holes until it's full, then drop one drop directly on the coil in the center to "prime" the wick. Pop on the mouthpiece or a drip trip and good to go! Sounds like a lot, but it takes no time and have had no wicking problems with either the
808's or the 510's. Taste and vapor are both great! I still like the EGO tanks as well, it's just the flavor is not as pronounced to me as in the clearomizer.
