I had a complex, evolving reaction to FreedomSmokeUSA's Wyatt Earp.

Flavorwise, the first taste that hit me was licorice. But it's not that simple. The licorice, althugh it is the predominate note in this juice, gives way to a taste I can only describe as leather. I mean that in a good way. It reminds me of the scent that good, fresh leather boots leave in my nose. There's a noticeable haylike taste as well (which, like the leather, doesn't sound good but is anyway.) There is a symphony of undertones to this, too, that lends it a well-balanced spicy air.

Wyatt Earp is actually the perfect name. It may not seem like it, but it is descriptive: this juice brings to mind the old west (or, how I imagine the old west to be). It's a heavy, aromatic juice lets you know you've vaped something. This would be a good juice to give a smoker who's trying vaping for the first time (unless they hate licorice.)

When I first tried this, to be honest, I didn't much care for it. I think the licorice put me off, perhaps because this is not a food-flavored juice. But as I continued to vape it, it really grew on me and now I like it quite a lot. For me, this will be more of a special-occasion vape that I'll pull out when I'm sitting with a bunch of smokers in a dimly lit bar, or during a poker game, or any other "manly" setting. Or maybe just for when I'm tired of my usual juices.

I would very much recommend that people try this out. This may not be the flavor for everyone, but it would be a shame to miss out on it if it's for you. FSUSA sells sample bottles of this, so you can try it on the cheap.

Nice review. I have to agree that this is a flavor that every vaper should try. It has so many different nuances that it really is hard to describe, but it is such an unusual taste that it really needs to be experienced. Even if you end up not liking it, this is a flavor that I do recommend trying.

I don't taste the licorice, I taste baby powder sometimes, which isn't a bad taste, but I also taste another taste that's not so good but I can't tell you what it taste like. I don't like black licorice so if I tasted that I wouldn't use it but I like it for an every now and then vape. Guess that proves that everybody's taste buds are different!

Zal42,

Nice review and spot-on. I would add I got a peppery taste right out of the box, but after 5-7 days the flavors really came together. This juice isn't for everyone, but for hardcore tobacco lovers like me it's perfect. I just ordered a 120ml bottle yesterday after finishing up my 10ml sample bottle.

cheers,

I got a free sample of WE...dripped a little...thought it was just awful...put it away for a few weeks...dripped a few more...still thought it was blech...PIF'd it to someone else...there are much better liquids available on the market than WE...actually, just about anything is better than WE....IMHO...

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. It's nice to know when a review is helpful.

This juice isn't for everyone, but for hardcore tobacco lovers like me it's perfect.

You know what's funny? As a rule, I dislike tobacco flavors. This is one of two that I can honestly say that I enjoy, so it's not necessarily just for hardcore tobacco lovers!

WE was my favorite juice until I bought some FSUSA RY4. I just received another 120 ml bottle of RY4 and with it a sample of RY5. I will be ordering a 120 ml bottle of this as well Awesome. The Wyatt Earp does have a liqorice/ anise type flavor but I also get a rich tobacco flavor as well. I don't get any pepper. many said Jalapano. I really don't get that either. I LOVE PEPPERS Jalapano, Hot sports, bell, banana, you name it. Hot sports chopped up in scrambled eggs with a drop or two of Louisiana Hot Sauce in the morning!!! I just don't get any pepper here. Some say that FSUSA'S RY4 and 5 have a pepper taste. Not here. I'm not putting down those that say that. I just don't taste it. I do still vape WE and have a large bottle of it as well. I just can't put the RY4 down. FSUSA is awesome. Customer service second to none!

+1 on this. all I got from a sample size of Wyatt Earp was a combination of freshly mown grass mixed with a foul chemical taste. It's been steeping now for 2 weeks and still smells vile. Will probably be my entry into the PIF group if it doesn't get better soon...

Those dirty dirty devils at FSUSA!!! They included a 3ml sample of Wyatt Earp in my first order with them. Well that lasted part of a day. I ended up ordering a 60ml bottle right away with an extra shot of flavoring. I enjoy heavy flavors like clove, fennel, anise and having smoked Djarum and Lucky Strikes, Wyatt Earp suits my palate just fine. It seems to change each time I use it: chocolate, anise, tobacco, coffee, espresso, toasted marshmallow and caramel. Pepper and jalapeno? Nope, don't taste any of that. I do think it plugs up the ol' carto so I use it in a cart with the blue foam. If you ordered it and didn't like it, send it my way and I'll dispose of it properly.

Couldn't stand the Wyatt Erp even steeped it for 3 weeks and occasionally trying to see if it got better like people said. Yuck-o. The RY5 was pretty evil tasting also similar to the W.E. Gave them both to a friend ( who threw them both away ) LOL !
O well, Different strokes for different folks.

I tossed out my earp as well after giving it a chance with steeping. Smelled and tasted like the perfume section of a department store.
