If you were to take it to the logical extreme...
Yes, it does.
If you want a Nanny State...
If you want to protect the precious children...
If you want everyone to be forced to wear helmets...
If you want freedom to be suppressed for the common good...
If you want a freaking village to raise your child...
If you want to be monitored to make sure you are in compliance...
The slippery slope is gone at that point.
The hole is deep and wide and swallows all things that happen by.
And so does a vote for Hillary.
Some will understand that, and too many won't.
May God bless their children.
I no longer use nicotine because of extortion fees.
$50 per month for the "privilege" due to my employer's health plan.
But not by choice...
Unless you consider principle or financial concerns to be choice.
I'm doing it on principal at this point, and have been for 11 months now.
It's not even remotely financial for me, as I can certainly afford the extortion fees.
But I may start using nicotine again at any point.
And if I do, that will also be on principle.
At some point, principle may be all we have left to stand on.
Sometimes its hard to tell though.
