Full VG Juice vs a PG/VG mix

I am a relatively new Vaper and you guys have already helped me out tons so I turn to you again! I have only been vaping for about a month, but it instantly replace cigarettes for me and I love it. I started with Mister E Liquid juices as a recommendation from a friend and I love them, but I still wanted to to try other vendors to get a variety and Hey...maybe I would like something better. I got a sample pack from Virgin Vapors and you only have the choice of 100% VG for the sample packs. I have to say I am not a fan and I am wondering 2 things:

1. Is it the full VG that I don't like or the brand?? I do not seem to get a decent throat hit or a good thick vapor. The taste seems a little off to me as well.

2. Can I add some of my 33% VG Mister E juice to the VV juice to try to get a better hit/vapor or is that just weird????

Thanks so much in advance!!!

Less throat hit may be due to the 12 mg nicotine in the sampler as well. I love a few of virgin vapor's flavors, but for any vendor it's smart to get those samples. If you give them another try (in VG or pg/VG) the vanilla chain latte and the cinnamon have amazing throat hit at 18mg 100% VG,, as does best damn tobacco (which I usually cut with orb vapor's ry4.)

I have samples of 12mg from Mr. E too that still give a good throat hit...I feel like it may be the lack of PG??? so you have mixed brands too? I have the Creme Caramel from virgin vapor and was thinking I may like it better, get a better hit if I added some of my Mr. E RY4???

PG will provide more TH and flavor but less vapor. VG will provide more vapor but less TH and flavor.

You can try mixing your juices to change the PG/VG blend but just be sure about the nicotine content you end up with. There's a lot of math involved in this.

OK....this confuses me, I get much much lass vapor with the 100% VG than I do with my 33% VG that I started with. I currently mix half and half with some of my Mr. E Juices I have currently. usually vape 18mg nicotine. So id I fill my EVOD half with the Virgin Vapor 12 mg 100% VG caramel and half with the MR E RY4 18 mg 33% PG it shouldn't make too much of an issue with the nicotine levels right????

VG is generally considered to provide more vapor. There could be other issues involved. 100% VG is very thick so sometimes, depending on the delivery device, there can be wicking problems where it has a hard time sucking up the juice. I've never used an EVOD or 100% VG juice so can't say for sure. With your 33% PG mix the juice is thinner so maybe it is being wicked better and thus producing more vapor.

Someone more knowledgeable than I may be able to shed more light on the subject.

Mixing 12mg and 18mg 50/50 equals 15mg.

Thanks! It makes me wonder about this 100% VG I got because it is VERY thin....almost like water, I was surprised because I remember reading on here that VG should be thicker. I added some of my other juice to this and it is much more enjoyable. I want to sample other vendors and I liked the concept from Virgin Vapors, just confused why what I ordered ended up so thin!

If it's like water I doubt it's 100% VG. Could be VG with PG flavoring which could thin it out. If you ever get into DIY and mixing your own juices you'll see the difference between PG and VG.

I will have to send a note to Virgin Vapor and inquire....bottle says 100% VG....i was surprised at how thin it was based on everything i have read...I may just stick with Mister E juices since I know I like them...hate trying something new and not liking it....don't want to waste it...but i guess it is all trial and error when getting into this!!!

i mixed all of mine all the time its fun to experiment and now i make my own juice. for me i dont like a lot of throat hit but i want a nice vapor so I use some where around 30pg 70vg but for you it sound like you want a 50 50 mix i would start there and add more pg if you need more hit and vg if you need more vaper. dont for get vg is thicker then pg so they both act different depending on what your using atti carts or what ever. in the winter ill up my pg or add a little grain alchol to thin it down some. every one likes something different you keep mixing things until you find the just right mix for you

Thanks for all the great info!!!!! I definitely like a good throat hit so pure VG may not be right for me but i am also thinking it may be my EVOD. ...just switched cuz I had trouble with my CE4 clearomizer and finding I am not even getting as good of a throat hit with my 33 VG juices in the EVOD....some day i will find my perfect combination.
