Hi gang, I am Fumaru. so glad i found this site!!
I have been reading alot and learning alot here!
I just put my cpu to work on the Fold@Home team ECF. I hope anyone reading this will join also!
Cancer is one of the reasons I found this site. ( 7 months Colon cancer)
My Doctors prefer that I stop smoking and although I have tried many times in 30 Yrs.
I truly think that vaping is my ticket to quit. I am just a week into this vaping thing and love it!
I really did not try e-cigs with quiting analogs in mind. It is just much more freeing and enjoyable.
I find that I don't like the taste of Marlboro much anymore.
Any how, Thanks for this site and off to get my 5 posts in so that I can post in the FDA thread.
CU on the boards.
Fumar out

I'm expecting my first kit in the mail (hopefully tomorrow). Can't wait, I've tried more than a few times to quit... Patches, gum, lozenges, cold turkey... Nothing has worked, and I only smoke 1/4 to 1/5 pack a day. Have done a lot of research, and ordered an eGo kit. If it works out for me, I plan on upgrading in the next month. I've had too many family members come down with cancer in the last few months, it makes me feel irresponsible to continue to smoke. Best wishes to you, and I hope you find peace, and health with your new ventures.

Thanks, I have tried all that stuff also..even some sort of nicotine nose spay that was like shoving a habanera pepper up the nose.
That was many years ago. I smoked it all..still have a large humidor full of cubans and even a large hookah ....I might still smoke it form time-to-time.
Just ordered a Lava tube 2 kit and a bunch off different juice flavors I supose I will become a chain vapor...or however it's spelled:vapor:

Welcome new ecf'r....great place with an abundant supply of info and resources. As well as good people. Youve vaping a week? It gets so much better. I got all my taste buds back when i quit and started smelling and breathing better. Sorry to hear about the colon cancer. Thats must be very difficult to deal with. I owe most of my smoke free 2 1/2 years to help i've got from fellow ecf'rs. Vape hard
