I got more Capella's and some more Lorann's is on the way. So, new recipe based on my all time favorite gourmet mocha.

Gold Rush:
equal drops Capella's double chocolate and coffee bean (or similar)
half as many drops of butterscotch and caramel, and a fourth as many of Boston cream pie (or another cream).

I use it at 1/3-1/4 flavor/e-juice.

I suggest finding a good level of chocolate and coffee to get the base mocha flavor and then you'll know just how many drops of the other flavors you'll need.

Is Chocolate and coffee what Mocha is? I never knew! I buy Mocha from MY vapor Store..it's very good, but I never tasted coffee in it. Maybe that's just me!

Mocha is the chocolate version of a latte, which is just a less foamy cappuccino. I used to work at a coffee cart, and the Gold Rush was our specialty.

I tried a new mix with the apple from Loranns. Smells great, but has no taste.. my husband likes it tho. He's not interested in tasting anything, he just wants the craving for an analog to go away and get a TH. Now he's definitely on board for the switch... I ordered the chocolate hazelnut from juicy juice, and I love how they come separated! I should have ordered a syringe from one of these places. I live in a small town, unfortunately, and when you buy stuff like that... they assume you're a drug addict! It's crazy how judgmental these people are... I'm hesitant to use my 901 in public because I could end up getting a visit from the swat team at my home or something. lol

Mishelle.....Loranns has choc hazelnut, I'm going to mix some this weekend. Juicy has yummy juices, but I have the mix bug, hope it doesn't turn out to be an atty killer. So far, so good, but I've been keeping it simple. (KISS is my motto.)

I mixed loranns cheesecake and pralines & cream with some coffee e-liquid...sounds delish!

It's not.

Somehow this combo tasted like ...burning carpet. I entered an immediate WTF?? situation and blew out the atty and tried a few more drips....burning carpet. *checks make sure there are no burning filler materials* nope. *suck* burning carpet. So I rinsed the atty out with some Isopropyl...added a few more drips...Burning carpet. I even tried a new atty...burning carpet.

It was not good.

LOL! That's awful.. Coffee and chocolate is good and so is Coffee and clove. I haven't had the results with lorann's that I would have liked except for fruits and coffee. I got a capuchino that was weak..the coffee punched it up! The fruit flavors are great. I tried Bickfords and all I can say is Blah. Except for the plum..that was truley horrid!

So why is it we get taste fatique with P.V.'s?

I would say that is because when we smoked we couldn't taste...I remember that icky film i used to get on my tongue after smoking too much at the bar at night....ugh...seriously made me want to puke just thinking about it...

I agree Maureen, also we aren't being dulled down by all the chems in cigarettes. If we ate just one flavor of food for any amout of time..we would get the same thing..I think.

Has anyone tried the Capella Vanilla Custard flavoring? I'm vaping it right now. It's delicious. I'm already working through my second bottle of this flavoring.

I've mostly been using the flavorings to boost my purchased eliquids. I guess, due to having smoked 2 1/2 packs for 42 years, my taste buds are just about dead.

So I find I need to use a lot of flavoring for a juice to taste good. Otherwise, they all just taste like plain VG.

I can go through a Loran's flavoring very fast, since they're such small bottles, but at least they're not expensive.

I haven't been liking the Chocolate flavorings I've mixed so far. I've still got to experiment more with them. It may be just that the chocolate flavorings aren't very authentic (and I'm a bit of a chocolaholic).

But I'm enjoying many of the fruit flavors.

I thought, since I had smoked Marlboro Menthol, that I would want to vape a Menthol tobacco taste. But I've found it to be just the opposite. I don't want to vape what I've smoked for 42 years. I want to vape everything BUT that!

Hubby is vaping occasionally, but only wants tobacco flavorings. (He's always been Mr. Vanilla anyway. Never any willingness to experiment.)

A mix I enjoy is Tasty Vapor's Atomic Fireball. I buy it already mixed at 36mg. Yum! No problem tasting THAT!

IO got some capella's in. Amaretto, French toast, Double Chocolate, Caramel and Graham cracker.
The Amaretto is just plain amazing! The vape is ok..but in coffee!!!!!Heaven..lol I think I need to add some nic to the Amaretto to make it a better vape..or add it to my coffee cartomizers.

The french toast is just maple in my opinion..good but I wanted more flavor. It will be a good addition to other flavors though.

Caramel is good, better then the Lorann's caramel which I found unvapable!, I bought it to experiment with making RY4.

Double Chocolate is very good. I like punching up my dark Chocolate flavor..because the dark Chocolate is too tobaccoey for me.
I also wanted to make a s'more's flavor with graham Cracker and Lorann's marshmallow...Pretty good, not great. Maybe I should add some regular chocolate to it. At least it is not that awful toosie roll flavor like Lorann's.

Graham Cracker. My taste buds must be weird..It just doesn't have the Graham taste I wanted. It's very good in coffee, like all the cappella flavors though..that's what they are made for after all!

I came to the conclution a while back that I prefer simple flavors to complex ones anyway. It's like the complex flavors try to hard and never reach the mark. The only ones that I thought were perfect were peach Cobbler and Dark Chocolate raspberry..and I still can't taste the Razz!

I've been wanting to order some flavorings and am not sure which vendor to use. I have a couple of Lorann's and the only one I liked was the butter rum. I didn't like key lime, cheesecake, pralines & cream, pina colada, apple, or watermelon. Has anyone tried Capella's gingerbread? I LOVE Ms. T's gingerbread cookie and I want to try to replicate it.

Never, ever mix vanilla with peanut butter cup. Strawberry and mint is decent (mostly because the strawberry by itself is too fruity for me). That said, the cinnamon roll is amazing (and i was just going to stick to mint and chocolate mint).

my newest fav vape...I take whatever weak flavored tobacco nic liquid I've got handy and mix it down to half and half with glycerine then add just a couple drops of loranns peach and a couple drops of loranns butterscotch...got myself a peach cobbler going on or something! Tastes damn awesome! My new vaping budy (whom I gave a kissbox to to get her off the habit since I no longer use it) even asked for some because she liked it so much!

I tried the peanut butter premade and it takested like peanuts..just peanuts without the salt to me. I tried adding chocolate and then capella's double chocolate..nope just peanuts! I will use it to make my own 555 and call it a day!

Cinnamon roll is one of my favs..it can be used to puch up apple, and any tobacco flavor.
